Lacken Lucy was our racer. The Bookies trembled when she raced. She is a wonderful dog, we loved her to bits. The only reason we did not keep her as a pet was because we already had 2 greyhounds at home. It broke our heart to let her go. Please give her a good home as she is very loving and friendly and deserves a happy and safe retirement. xxxx

I am so happy to see that lulu is being reserved, whoever has her please don’t forget to speak to Ruth about the stuff that we have left for her.
Look after her she is a beauty,

im really interested in Lulu. i have rabbits but im not worried about that, i have a dog friendly cat and i wonder if she would be ok with him, she seems perfect.

I cant believe Lulu has not got a home yet, she is perfect in every way, even thought we only had here for a day i fell in love with her, i was not keen on greyhounds and thought they where funny looking but as soon as i saw her and saw how she was looking at me I could see that she is 100% pure kindness, it is like she was looking at me saying thank you for being nice to me, like it was totally alien to her to be pampered and loved, Lulu is such as beautiful girl, and i really wish things where different as she would be at home with me right now.
Please give her a home, she deserves the very best, she is great on a lead, quiet, toilet trained, just perfect. Miss you lulu.

So sorry Lulu I was unable to visit this weekend. As my rabbit comes into the kitchen sometimes I think Lulu would probably find her too interesting to ignore! I can't believe there are no takers for you Lulu, lets hope that you find a good home soon

Hi Lizzy, I have a rabbit and 5 greyhounds! they have shown no interest in her at all even when she is in her run in the garden.

Hi Lizzy, rabbits and greyhounds always make a great combination!!!!! Seriously though, if your rabbit is in a secure enclosure it should remain safe. You can train them to get used to them being around. My friend who has guinea pigs looked after Shrew one of my greys for a week last year. The first few days she took to leaping on top of the run that held them but by the end of the week, although they were still intriguing, she wasn't going mental trying to get to them!

Lulu sounds wonderful. Would Lulu be ok to live with small furries? We have a rabbit, this to me isn't a good combination. What are your thoughts? xx

Sorry to hear that Lulu has been returned so soon, she looks a lovely dog. I know that it a big step to have a dog as this is what we are thinking about doing at the moment. It's been 2 years since our dog Pippa passed away. A dog is such a huge undertaking, I'm not sure when the right time will be, but Lulu is pulling at my heartstrings, might come and visit you this weekend.

So sorry to see Lulu has been returned. Just wondering if you know what she is like with smaller dogs? My boy Toby is a bit keen around the little ones and now I'm looking for a sister for him I'd be happier a grey who isn't quite so keen!!! Lulu looks gorgeous and very placid. Cath xx

LuLu (lucy) is such a wonderful dog, someone please give her a home soon, she is so well behaved, quiet, gentle and loving and it is such shame to have to return her, unfortunately at no fault of Lucy she had to be returned, if you are after a dog that is perfect in every way then Lucy is the one for you. even though it has only been a day or so we will miss her, Thank you Ruth for everything you have done. Adam.

Poor Lulu is being returned today after only being homed on Sunday. Her owners feel they cannot cope with having a dog afterall. Although only in a home for a short time, she has been absolutely golden and will make a wonderful addition to someones family hopefully very soon.

to pinkunicorn if you might read this. i too lost my two collies within a year and was heartbroken. i got Rossi after i lost Lenny to keep Monty dog company and it was the beginning of my love affair with greyhounds. during Monty's last months he had the company of three greyhound brothers and he was happy to have them in his life before cancer took him away. my heart goes out to you and i am sending you love and strength for the time ahead and love to your gorgeous little Molly. Dear pink unicorn, So sorry about your pet collie take comfort in the fact that you have given her a loving home. Your next dog will never replace her but will give you love and I cannot recommend a greyhound enough, they give so much love back to you.

she's sooo cute, sometime in the future i will be getting a new dog, it will be a sad time because my beloved collie has cancer and i know the time will come sooner or later that she will go to rainbow bridge, i want to rehome a dog that is in need of a loving family and im have decided upon a greyhound.
