Happy Birthday !

this poor little girl is not having much luck being returned a second time after just a few days. i cannot stress enough that it can take a little while until a dog( and i do mean any dog not just greyhounds) will settle and learn to be clean in a house especially if they have gone through the trauma of re-homing and re-turning. it does require patience and understanding and i hope that whoever decides to take this lovely little lady home will be prepared to give her the time she needs to settle as being rejected over and over again will only add to her distress. big hug to you little lady and hope you won't be at the kennels too long though we shall all look after you and spoil you rotten whilst you are there of course. Unfortunately Dottie is being returned tomorrow. She was homed on Monday but is having trouble with toilet training which her owners cannot cope with.

We are really sorry we were unable to come yesterday to collect you yesterday but we come as soon as possible we are really looking forward to making our family complete.

Poor Dottie was due to go to her new home today but her owners are desperately trying to make it home from Jersey now by ferry due to cancellation of all flights! She is enjoying her kennel life with Corky who loves her equally so they have a bit longer together :-)

Poor Dottie was returned today. She was homed last Saturday and is getting severe separation anxiety when her owners leave her. Her owners were distraught at returning her but were worried she could start to harm herself when left as she just craves the company of another dog or someone who can be around more until she learns that she doesn't need to worry when left alone.
