Well its 3 months on and my 2 black beauties are the best. All my friends and visitors have commented on how calm these big dogs are! Bloss is still cheeky & a terrible thief while Reubes is the Cool Cat in the house.They get on so well together now, I'm so pleased for Bloss having lived with Zac I knew she liked company and now Reubes is settled to her. They often lie curled up together and lick each other....too sweet. Very occassional grumbles, but I only needed to break things up once & confiscate a toy they both really wanted. Got their first cat contact in our garden today, nearly caught it, but thankfully the cat managed into the tree....I dread to think of the horror that could have been. Don't think we will see that cat again in a hurry. Happy Days.
Thanks to all of you for all your guidance and support, it so good to know you are all on hand to dish out your knowledge.

My hubby, he say YESSSSSSS!! Yahoo! Only took a week. Will be down on Saturday to formally adopt Blossom, if that's okay with u all. luv t

My sweet little girl is still settling in. She does seem a bit nervous of hubby, but has come into the lounge to sleep this evening after spending some time on her own (of her own choosing) in the kitchen earlier on. Ste is working with her, giving treats & food etc so she will be more confident around him. All being well I will be keeping her as he has nearly said we can't send her back now!! luv t

Another peaceful night, no muzzles needed now. Reubes is getting competitive with eating, but no signs of aggression. They look great together. Hubby still saying NO :( but he has given her great big cuddles as she is so cute. I'm planning the major assult on keeping her tonight over a glass of wine, as she is so settled & happy. All being well I will be back on Mon/Tues to sign her out to me forever!!! luv t

So pleased Blossoms settling in ok & that Reubes is fine with her, they'll b the best of friends in no time. How's the hubby taking 2 her, as she won him over yet. X

She is such a cheeky girl, just tried to steal my laptop charger! R & B are getting on well now, they are falling over each other to get my loves!! Hubby home tonight, he still says B has to go back, but everyone has met her now and all agree she is lovely so I think I win!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all your good wishes, see you soon. luv t

Hi Sara, Blossom is fitting in really well. She has still got Reubes' bed all to her self, think he is in a bit of a huff, but not taking it out on anyone. They look so lovely together, ate their dinners well, and have followed me everywhere. So pleased for them both, hope the peace lasts and the good vibes get stronger. luv t

Hi, hope you didn't mind me sneaking Blossom home with Reubes!! Hubby does.....he'll be fine once he get home from Italy (oh did I do a sneak on him - might have...) Have spoken to him on the phone, it's cool, honest. Mum in law has already popped round and loves her as does my 4yr old daughter. All going well at this early stage. Reubes doesn't seem to mind that Bloss has nicked his bed for now. Just walked them together, I need more practice but they did very well. R still wants to eat little dogs and Bloss wants to pull on the lead, but together they worked really well. Neither bothered with the stationary cats - whew!! Thanks you guys for all the advice & convincing today, luv t

Yay! Blossom is going out on trial with Reubes...... hope it all works out for her.... she is a lovely girl who has been fed up being back at the kennels.

Hi all, I spoke to Ruth today about fostering/adopting Blossom and if I can persuade hubby, I'm thinkin Blossom will make a good playmate for Reubes. Fingers crossed for us please (and subject to Reubes approval of course!) luv t

Blossom and Zac are being returned today as their owners have now started working full time and the dogs are suffering with separation anxiety.
