Due to a change in circumstances, Flossie and Sheena have been able to go back home! We are over the moon for John their owner and the two girls.

This is so heart wrenching, Suzy and john were wonderful people, completely devoted to their four greyhounds. It's just your worst nightmare who will look after my dogs..........
Flossie is Bertie's litter sister, and looks so much like him, those eyes !! If she is anything like Bertie ( which Silv used to say she was ) then you couldn't wish for a more loving wonderful dog !! I wish there was room at the inn !!! I really hope both these girls find a sofa really soon, although Bertie is 10 he acts like a three year old, please don't let their ages put you off , the oldies reward you many times over. It's just the saddest thing xx

We were just leaving when Flossie and Sheena were returned to day. So very sad for all concerned. They are both lovely girls and I really hope they find homes very soon as it must be very confusing for them.

Flossie (and the others) went a walk up Purley Chase,although we saw a squirrel in the distance never got near. Sardines for tea and another walk before bed.

Well its our lovely girls 9th birthday, having a few treats today along with Minty. She has now retired from blood donations but I hope it helped others over the time. Love to her from Mom & Dad and the rest of the Clan xxxxxxxx

Sorry late coming back re: Flossie but not back from the Vets until after 5.30. Anyway she has had most of the stitches out and two left in that are dissolvable ones. So she is well on the mend. As to Tessa she is stopped the leaking. But still on the Propalin. Sylv xx

Sorry didnt get back to you Kate yesterday, but she has improved a lot and the vet is happy with the wounds progress, at lest the weeping and bleeding has stopped. Back to see the vet next week, maybe have the stitched out? We now have another problem, will put it on Tessa's site.xxxx

Our lovely girl went to the vet's this morning, ended up having to have an anaesthetic for her wound, luckily she had not eaten since 6/6.30 am,.Well back home and sleeping, how these things happen is well ?????

Well our girl has arrived home after her tooth extraction, which was seen as being good on the surface, but at the root rotten to hell. She's taken it well, eaten and been for a walk. Back at the vets early next week to check things. Love to all Sylv xxx

Having kept things to myself, our girl was back at the vet's tonight. But having said that he had offered to see her after his track visit on Saturday. Anyway something burst on the outside of her jaw and bled. She's had an injection and is on two tablets. Back at the end of the week to see her lovely vet. Thanks to Andre and she will I expect get over this. Love to all Sylv & John xx

Will I finally found Flossie's site. Just let all know she arrived home around teatime and is fine even though she has had numerous teeth out mostly on the lower jaw. Has had her breakfast this morning and appears to be talking to me.Sylv.

Flo, now Flossie has joined her mom Mindy they are so happy you would have thought they had never been parted,they are the love of the day, it shows they do recognise their young. Minty has also accepted her.

Flo joined us on Thursday, one accident that night, but our 2 other grays are showing the way, & the older lady has taken control. Nothing since. Although on Sat I was called to the door & 2 doughnuts disappeared, a large pack of loo rolls demolished & a newspaper shredded in seconds. The old lady g/hound is taking control, otherwise she must take after her mom in nature.
Hope Ruth has a good day. Sooner her than me. If you were meant to jump out of aeroplanes you would be born with feathers.

It won't be long till she's gone that's for sure! She was an absolute peach today. She was so sweet, is such a dot and wanted lots of cuddles. I wanted to sneak her away with me there and then. :-) Her pic doesn't do those eyes justice!
