There is a saying that is always on my mind when I have lost a beloved Grey, it is-- "Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened" and from what I have read about Tom you have a lot of memories to smile about after the sadness eases a little, that he happened in your life and you gave him a second chance. Your love for each other will live on in your heart forever RIP sweet boy xx

Hey brother, happy 10th birthday! Bet you've got lots of lovely treats coming your way today. I'm seeing my Grundpa and Grundma later, so a cup of tea and a biscuit are coming my way - I've got Grundma wrapped round my paws!!!! My little sis Emily likes to clean me up a bit, so that means clean ears today, that girl loves to clean my ears! Mama and Daddy will bring me something nice to munch on, just hope Mama doesn't grab me for a cuddle, I'm too cool for those and besides, she don't half hug tightly!!! Have a good one bruv. My face lit up reading this. As you know Ruth, I had quite a soft spot for Maxi (Tommy) and it makes me really happy to know that he is being so well looked after and is settling into his new life. Thank you Maggie. Mand & Gent x

He is still Coley to me (his original name). I am so glad Maggie is his mum..... he is going to be spoilt for the rest of his life.... one of our Daybreaks greys we need not ever worry about......

Maxi came to see us today & is doin brilliant, gettin on great with his 2 new sisters, they're teaching him how 2 play & getting used 2 the cat. Maggie, his new mom spoils them all so much & spends a fortune on them everytime she comes 2 the kennels. Maggie is the best mom he could ever want & will now get 2 enjoy the rest of his life. He won't want 4 anything & will b given so much love. Thankyou Maggie u r a special person. Will c u at the kennels again soon. Lol x fr Sara

Aww, poor Maxi. Like everyone else this brought a tear to my eye too. We took on a 9year old girl, Pickles, at the end of March and she too had come from a family and for the first few weeks after we bought her home everytime she heard a little voice, she stopped and refused to move until she had checked it wasn't her little folk.....so sad. she is now much better and I like to think she is so happy that her other family are a distant, but very fond memory for her. he is so lovely and its so sad that he is back at the kennels. when i was in with him giving him a cuddle he heard the voice of a little boy and his whole body quivered with anticipation, he thought it was his little person from his last home, it made me cry as he obviously misses his home and his people, he is a little poppet and so very gentle, please someone with children come and see him and give him his happiness back, he really is a gorgeous boy. big love to you Maxi. xxx

Ah little Maxi. Another one of Gent's brothers (we think) and from the side, he's the spitting image of him. For one of the boys, he's not too big. I took a bit of a shine to him today, he was such a gentle little thing and an absolute dream on the lead. If you're still there next Saturday, I'll pop up to see you again. Mand x

just look at his sweet little face, cuddling his toy, makes my heart melt, hopefully someone will give him a home very soon. xxx
