Buttons needs somone to see past her slight limp, many dogs have full and active lives with only three legs and we know from past experience that greyhounds are very adaptable dogs .Given time and commitment she will be a happy companion for somone special .

I'd take her and her limp any day of the week, but I am on a greyhound ban now!! She looks so cute and chilled out, bit like her big brother!! You'll find a home soon xx

just to add to Button's limp...my toby had the same injury but his leg was never 'fixed' by a vet and he walks with a limp. when we first got him he walked on three legs 90% of the time but after living with us for 20 months now he uses all his legs 90% of the time as walking him has strengthened his leg so much. Buttons was lucky and had her leg fixed and all she will need is regular exercise and eventually she will use all four legs most of the time for sure. it does not affect their ability to go for walks at all and i hope that someone can see past Button's slight disability and give her the happy home she deserves. xxxx

Ah Buttons, you were out walking today when I popped up for food. Keep practising walking on all four feet lovely girl. Roxy has taken 6 months and still hasn't got there! xx

Buttons broke her hock which finished her racing career. I spoke to her trainer who told me that she had been in a cast for a long time. She is better now but she has developed a habit of limping which has put people off looking at her. The limp comes and goes and we are trying to teach her that she can use all her legs again! She will have no long term problems as a result of this - please look at this beautiful girl. She stayed at our house following her spey and was absolutely golden. She will make a wonderful pet for someone willing to look past her temporary limp x

Buttons is doing great - eating well and she has a happy, waggy tail. I left her at home yesterday and kept an eye on her on the web camera whilst I was at the kennels..... she slept all day! She is house trained already and gets on great with all of our greys x

My weekend volunteering has got me smitten with them all but I have a bit of a soft-spot for Buttons as she really reminds me of the dog I had when I was young - called Buttons! Must be fate....
