Has Jack found a foster home yet? x

Monday 24 Jan 12:31

Hi Ruth, I'd offer to foster him for you as with Pip and Molly he'd be fine, but as we work and have to leave them I don't think it would be any help :-( Plus I don't think I'd be able to give him back x

HI RUTH IS JACK CAT FRIENDLY

by DaybreaksRuth

Saturday 22 Jan 14:19

We are appealing for a foster home for Jack. He would suit a home with the company of another dog and not to be left for long periods. He needs someone capable of strict training to help him overcome his separation anxiety. He walks like a dream on the lead and he is good with other breeds. He loves to cuddle and is a very gentle boy but needs someone to help him overcome his emotions.
If you think you can help, please give me a call on 0121 782 7702. Ruth x

I had the pleasure of taking Jack out for a long walk on Wednesday. He was a little unsure at first (well, he had only just met me!) but when he got more confident he was amazing. He walks beautifully and liked to trot by my side, he looked very elegant, he was spooked by a car and he jumped, but did not pull me, such a careful boy. He met a very excited Cocker Spaniel, they had a very good sniff of each other, Jack was a true gent, very calm and careful. I think he would thrive in a home where he knows his place, this would give him the confidence to be the cheeky chappy that I suspect is hiding underneath...plus he's very gorgeous, who could resist?! xxxx

Jack hope you are rehomed soon,I have read some of the previous comments and feel that with time ,patience and commitment you will be a fantastic addition to anyone family.
All greys can have the odd forgetful moment and can overcome this ,we found that obtaining a citrus (lemon works best) air freshner, nearby to the favoured toilet spot obviously dont leave for the dog to lick could harm if consumed. The dog avoids that spot .also let the dog know and praise him when he goes outside.I am sure your forever home will be found very soon.

Jack was returned to the kennels due to problems settling but sadly also personal problems beyond their control with the family who desperately wanted to adopt him. He is a lively boy, but would need an experienced owner to help him settle.

How's the lad doing ... all good we hope!! Our household has smiled at your last update. We have a whippet and he is a smaller version of Fudge ... those eyes!! And yes he also has a tendency to bark and will eat anything going given the opportunity!!! Jx

Wednesday 22 Dec 11:42

jack is no longer Jack. Jack is now Fudge!! Fudge allowed us some sleep. Tried to bark but after 10 minutes of the door banging at him when he did he shut up and went to sleep next to Tilly. Currently walking around with a make shift nappy (tah Ruth for the tip) to stop him spraying the house. Only got the bed and settee so far!!!
Oh yes like helping cook Stick Toffee puddings too x x x x

Jack's here at last. Been in the house 2 hours and forgot how hectic a new grey is!!Climbing on tables, work tops and window ledges is a passion at the moment; so too is mom's cappucino...... far cheekier that his picture portrays. Very lovely boy though. Sully is sulking about his new 'brother', Tilly thinks her new brother fab, and the parrot - well she's gone into hiding. Here's to a fun filled Christmas - so hard typing with a new grey on your lap!!!! x
