Hi greyhound lovers - just to let you know Arty is settling in well after a bit if a stressful night. He misses all his Day Breaks friends but will be back to visit and will forward some photo's. He has already adopted a Xmas reindeer as his own and his big Sis Holly is looking after him.

He nearly got away with the prawn crackers last night but we managed to spot them before they got consumed. Xxx from Arty

I felt so privileged to be given so many kisses and cuddles from this gorgeous boy on entering his kennel today, so affectionate and his eyes just draw you in! He did however totally dump me when Craig arrived, clearly a mans dog! I still love you though Arty. xx

Visited Daybreak for the first time today. What a wonderful place and what friendly people. Most of all what wonderful dogs especially Arty - he's so handsome and affectionate. Looking to give a loving home to one of the greyhounds and would be more than happy to have any of them but need one who can pass the 'cat' test. Good luck Arty. Lots of hugs.

Arty surprised me today, I gave him a tennis ball, and he was as chuffed as if I'd given him 3 boxes of bonios, he gave me a lovely cuddle back....good boy!

We met Arty today while on a visit, we have to say what a gorgeous affectionate boy he is. Within a minute of meeting he was all over us aaking for fuss kissing our faces. He was brilliant with our 5 year old little boy, he would make a fantastic addition to any family. Good luck you gorgeous boy, someone please give him a loving home xx

hi my family and i are looking 2 give a new home 2 1 of these wonderful dogs n each time i come to this site i am drawn to Arty, and would love to be able 2 give him a sofa to lie on. We have 2 cats tho so would need some1 who is cat friendly whether that be Arty or 1 of the others. Cant wait 2 b able 2 come n meet all the boys and girls at Daybreaks xx

I wonder if Arty could come and teach our two to walk by our side and not 5 feet in front... Lol, he looks like such a stunner and very much deserves a sofa of his own and lots of love and attention, lets hope he finds it soon xx

I don't doubt he was worth every penny but I'm sure he still wants a space on the sofa and a cuddle like every other retired grey! I think this boy is absolutely gorgeous, can't wait to come back up for more cuddles. xxx

This lad apparently cost £16,000 and won the 2007 Derby! He is fantastic - gentle on the lead and walks by your side. He even comes with his Derby winning coat (pictured)!
