Sadly Flash is back because the previous owner is working long hours and Flash is being left in excess of 8 hours. He is great with other breeds as he stopped the night at Jills house but unfortunately he is not cat friendly.

He is a beautiful loving boy who is house trained and we are desperate to find him a home as soon as we can.

Oh, no, what's happened Flash? Bought a tear to my eye seeing your picture again with my lovely Charlie, you were so good with him, big hugs to you xxxx

i love Flash, he came for a long walk with me and Frisky and my McKenzie and he was good as gold as always. such a sweet little boy with such gentle loving manners, i simply can't understand why he has not been taken home by someone yet. xxx

Has flash been cat tested?

Flash has some grey bits on his muzzle, he is black, he is male, but PLEASE, PLEASE look at this amazing dog if you are considering rehomeing from Daybreaks. Just spend half an hour with him and you will realise what a total star he is!!

I visited the kennels today and had the most wonderful cuddle with Flash. He came up to me and really snuggled. What a beautiful, friendly, affectionate dog xxx

Debs .. don't be negative I'm sure they must have some good points LOL do they chase cats? Are they clean in the house .. oh no- teenagers -forget I asked that :) and I bet they eat all the food ..I remember my brother ...Hmm maybe you'll have to do T's method? J xxx

Deb, have you thought about my method? You know, the one where you wait til hubs is leaving the country for a few days & call them to say your fostering, then keep Flash as I did with Blossom - Its a one time trick to be honest, but worth the risk!! :)
PS He loves Blossy to bits as she has more "Character" than Reubes - i.e. Nortier....!

Flash is one of our longest stayers now and i don't know why as he is such a wonderful easy boy to have around, please come and say hello to him and see for yourself, you'll not be disappointed. xxx

hi deb, you will have to do what i did a few weeks ago, went to the kennels and brought home ellie-may , my husband was like yours, not sure a grey would be suitable as a family dog, tracey put ellie in her car done the home check at the same time, i phoned my hubby said we have a small addition to the family . he really did not have much choice!. the only white lie i told him was that she is only small , but she is really quite big, don't know how i got away with it. my hubby now takes her for her walk every morning rain or shine and she is very much part of the family. xx

i HAVE TRIED TO REHOME THE HUSBAND BUT AS HE COMES WITH TWO MOODY TEENAGERS HE IS NOT A VERY ATTRACTIVE PROPOSITION.
KEEPING SHOWING HIM THE PICTURES BUT HE REMAINS TO BE CONVINCED.
FLASH IS SO GORGEOUS HE WILL MAKE A FAB COMPANION.

Flash why are you still in kennels if only I could persuade my husband I would take you home today.He is so handsome and friendly surely this could be his weekend, he must be so fed up in kennels when he could be snuggled up a nice sofa.

Deb, knowing how well you've done with Millie I have no doubts you would cope with two, and Flash sounds like a lovely dog, why delay the inevitable,ask ruth if you can take him on trial to prove to your hubby it would work,then work on him! I would not normally write this but i'm sure everything would be fine. Trust your instincts Im sure their right.Im working tomorrow so wont be at training but hope to see you soon - Dave.

Popped into the kennels today and ended up going for a walk with some of the greys and my lurcher Millie. The boys treated her like a princess and she seemed particularly taken with Flash who is adorable and justs wants lots of hugs.
I still need to work on my husband as I think Millie and Flash would make a fine couple.
Where ever he goes his new family will be so lucky he is a true gent and so affectionate and well behaved.

I had the pleasure of walking with Flash this morning. After an eager start, Flash walked very nicely by my side. On our return leg, we passed by a young Beagle and took the opportunity to make his acquaintance. After initial enthusiasm on both sides, Flash decided that he was not particularly interested and pulled back, disinterested. I think Flash is going to be fine with other breeds.

I really think that Flash will be an easy boy to house train as when he needs a wee, he lets the whole of daybreaks know! When he is put in the run he has a wee straight away and is then more than happy to go back into his kennel for another kip! Lovely boy!
