Lady has injured her paw. She was struggling with it yesterday and i notice a small puncture wound and her pad was clearly very painful. A trip to the vet has resulted in a poltice and a very attractive bandage and some antibiotics. ( I am glad we have continued the insurance ) She is much happier today though and is enjoying the extra attention - back to the vet on Tuesday.

lady is officially a 6 year PUPPY who like Barbie dolls and FOOD! She rolls over as soon as she sees us for a tummy tickle.She is far less nervous than Jo ever was when he first came to us and she will take the upper hand if she thinks she can get away with it. She has spent more and more unmuzzled and will happy sit with us and cats, taking no notice. Toilet training is a bit haphazard still but accidents are confined to the kitchen which is manageable and I remember with Jo that it took quite a long tiime before he was ablr to "tell" us that he needed to go out. The other bit of the equation is that we aren't always good at reading the signs. WE LOVE HER TO BITS

Things moving on nicely here. Lady is still muzzled when the cats are in the house but is off the lead and of course is supervised. 99% of the time she turns away but gets excited as you would expect when they start rolling on the floor. I am convinced they do it to wind her up! They seem to need the spray more than Lady does. Lady and jo getting on well but fighting for our affections, Jo is much more submissive. The rush from the 2 of them when any of us come through the front door is amazing and they are very boisterous together when excited. Have a nice photo which I will Facebook later. Bye for now

we at the kennels are delighted and amazed that lady is reunited with the brother she grow up with, after nearly 3 years apart. Have a long and happy life together jo and lady xx

Thank you for sharing your lovely pics, and it's great to hear how Lady is getting on - she has certainly landed on her paws! Our water sprayer is a God-send, I can't remember the last time I've squirted it, but just the threat of it is often enough! Em x

We have a calm day, Lady,me and Jo .I have posted a couple of pics on Facebook. We have had a muzzle free couple of hours tonight when all cats were out

Just a quick update before I get the children to school. Lady slept on our bed for most of the night(tast as you mean to go on) and Jo on his settee in our room. they got us ( Mike) up at about 3am for the garden and Lady slept downstairs for the rest of the night. I had a small gift in the dining room when I got up at 6 but it was firm which always helps
:-) ! She has shown herself to be intermitenlty interested in the cats but a quick "leave" and when needed the water spray has helped divert her attention. She is actually more interested in food than cats! We are confident that that with love and patience she will learn very quickly. We are keeping her muzzled for now, a neccessary evil. She adores the children and they her and it's amazing how very attached she has become in such a short space of time. I will try to post some photo later. excuse poor typing

We're home! Lady has had a wee i the garden but Jo wants to play - so excited, but like all good women she's told him who's boss. Lady is of course overwhelmed by it all ( so am I) but seems to have attached herself to my daughter, Lettie-Mai. Children will be wanting a day off of school tomorrow - I can feel it coming!!!!

this is such wonderful and amazing news. We are all so excited and are finding it just a bit spooky that we should come accross Jo's litter mate like this. We haven't met her yet either but she'd be as loved with three legs and one just as much as she would with all her legs and both eyes. HOpe she likes! we have Lady's brother as I mentioned before. My amazing husband has yes, after a weekend of consideration he wouls like the chnace to be considered to have lady. We have cats however, or rather Jo does. Ruth, I will be in touch tomorrow

my old girl lady! she will make a lovely family pet, she loves lots of affection and fuss, especially having her belly rubbed! sometimes she didnt want to go out so she would wait for me to walk into her kennel then roll on her back and enjoy a nice belly rub once that was over she soon shot up and wanted to go out :) enjoy your retired life lady xx

Lady is being a fantastic house guest - great with our greys, no accidents, sleeps all night and is a gentle, loving girl. I am sure she will be snapped up soon x

I have Lady's brother, Radiant Jo. The most wonderful Grey you could ever imagine. Oh I would love his sister but know what my husband will say when I ask him:-(

I picked up Lady from her trainer this morning who was very sorry to see her go as they have had her since she was 2. I took her straight to the vets where she is being speyed today and she will stop at our house until she is recovered.
