I took Paul over to Fivelands in Moseley again for his dental on Wednesday. He had an absolute stack of teeth removed bless him but was in the capable and fantastic hands of Chris Lancelot the vet. I want to thank Meg his owner for everything she does for him - he has a fabulous new name of Levi but he is still 'Paul' to me - I just can't help it!!! xxxx

I took Paul over to Fivelands in Moseley yesterday for his pre dental blood tests so it was an early start with a rendezvous at Daybreaks with his new owners.

Everyone loved him at the vets and he was absolutely golden but clearly over the moon to be reunited with his Mum yesterday afternoon - you are such a good boy Paul xxxx

paul you have a lovely new family and don,t worry too much about your teeth my girlie only has 4 left and she can eat anything you will still be handsome be happy xx

Sad to hear Paul will have to have quite a lot of teeth out...but I am sure he will get lots of extra love and cuddles from his family. Xxx

I went with Paul and his new owner to the vets prior to him going out to his new home yesterday afternoon. He is booked to go in for a dental next Tuesday and it is estimated he will probably lose around 14 teeth :-(

I wanted to say once again sorry to everyone who had to wait to see me yesterday - the day was hectic and I finally got home after 7.30pm after a warehouse trip..... no rest for the wicked I guess!

Hi we had paul for almost 5 years and its broke our hearts to have sent him back to the kennels miss him so much xx ive tried to comment on here but just kept getting to upset . Things have changed at home since we had Paul the addition of little grandchildren who i look after most days plus other stuff so it was with a heavy heart he was returned im so glad to see he has been reserved he is a fantastic boy with lots of character he loves to be with you when your there ,he can be left while you go out he's very clean he does not chew unless its a sqeeky toy he walks lovley on the lead ,as big as he is you dont notice after a short time he hates a pebbly beach he is great with other animals i could go on and on but to whoever is giving him a home bless you xx you will not regret it if i can be off any help to you with his likes and dislikes please feel free to contact me im sure Ruth will pass my details to you Love you Paul xxx

What can we say about this lovely big boy, we fostered him sadly just overnight as our other greyhound had been attacked in the past and has now got issues.

He is a fantastic boy very loving and could be very loyal, to new owners. He has a fantastic attitude and got on well with our other dog chichis a pug, was NOT interested in our neighbours cat who crossed the garden in front of him.
he just wants hugs and kisses and sleep.
We are very sad to see him back to the kennels today but know he will not be there long at all.
If you are looking for a companion this is the boy for you. We are just so sorry we could not give him a forever home.

Wow I have just logged on to see that Paul is fostered, such fantastic news, really cheered my day up ( I was having a bad one lol ) who are the lucky fosterers ???????? Very jealous, Roy said its Paul or me !!! I thought ummm It will have to be Paul ..... But then thought who would cook for the dogs and I !!! You guess the pecking order in our house

Great news that Magic bagged himself a home and gosh what can I say about Paul, he is one amazing boy, chilled , very friendly , good with all the other dogs, anyone who knows me will understand when I say he stole my heart !!! To be back in kennels after such a long time in a home is heart breaking, I think he wonders what's happening to him, but despite this he trotted along beside Norman and seemed to enjoy the walk !!
I really hope Paul finds a home very quickly or even a foster home for the time being, Paul is a star and sole my heart xx

Sending my cuddle to Paul tonight...poor lad was very stressed to find himself back in the kennels today. :( He is very handsome and affectionate. Do hope he won't have to wait too long for a new home. Xxx

Met this lovely boy this morning. Understandably a little bewildered about what was happening to him, he is very friendly and enjoyed his walk out with the group, walking nicely on his lead. He is a big boy, and to look at is so reminiscent of our Shane with his beautiful fawn patches. I really hope that a new home comes along very soon for him. Big cuddles. xxxx

Jess is still crazy but beautiful, the breeder new what they were doing when they bred these 2, They may not be racers, but they are charmers. Hope they can meet up sometime this year. Hi Doddy, we had Jess on 14th Nov 2009 which was my birthday. She took a couple of nights to settle, but has become a sweetheart. They sound like peas in a pod. Does Paul whinge alot for nothing? Hi everyone Paula doing really well he had an upset tummy the first couple of days but he's fine now , he sure is a right character and so funny he collects cuddly toys and socks he hides them in his bed or behind the curtains lol he hasn't had any accidents in the house at all he cries when he wants to go out so we have really dropped on with him as we both work and he's being so good .we love him to bits .xxx

I had lots of cuddles from this beautiful big lad yesterday. He is so affectionate, I got my faced washed several times. If only I had space and no threat of divorce this boy would have been home with me in heart beat. He will be a wonderful pet, bouncy & fun loving I think!!

Well he is a dreamboat and probably a bit of a charmer! I really can't help but love great big greys :-)

I'd agree with that too. Our big boy is so calm and gentle, compared to our little girl, who dashes around at a million miles an hour. She's only small, but there's no mistaking when she's in residence! It may sound a bit daft, but after a while, you really don't notice their size anyway. Mand, Gent & Emily x

i love the big boys, two of mine are big dogs and they are simply wonderful, gentle loving beautiful dogs...i would not be without them and Paul looks just so handsome and has a gorgeous smile.xxx

Big is definately beautiful when It comes to greys!! My big charlie is much calmer and better behaved than my little handfull fly!! And big means more greyhound to cuddle :o) xxxxx

Well I had to give my cuddle to Paul because he is definitely of the Gabriel ilk, big loving and friendly. As Michelle said please don't be put off that 1) he is a boy and 2) he is big. My jumbo boy is no more trouble than a smaller dog and can fold up small enough to fit into a single bed with me when required( and those who know me will know that's no mean feat lol) . He is so full of love and personality and so chilled out and I wouldn't swap him for the world and by the looks of it Paul has just as much to give!. If I could have a second dog I would be on my way over right this minute :-)

I too remember Paul when we went to Bark Inn last year, he seemed like a friendly boy and I hope he gets rehomed very soon.

I agree that Michelle and the staff at Bark Inn look after the dogs so well. Our three greyhounds stayed there whilst we were on holiday last year and they were looked after so well.

It is great to know that we have Daybreaks and Bark Inn Kennels and so many people that love greyhounds.

Well hes a big boy with a big heart and if he could talk he would.When I left daybreaks yesterday I was very sad especially when I got back to kennel and he was not there.He deserves a home life and will make someone a cracking pet just dont let the size of him put you off he is a big softie.Love you loads Paul x x

I have met Paul a few times when he was at Bark Inn and at the dog show.His pictures are lovely and he is just as cute in real life
I think Michelle really loved him at Bark Inn and just wondering how many boxes of tissues she got through when she dropped him off at Day Breaks.
I am sure he will be gone in a flash and he really deserves to be out of kennels and in a family home.
Michelle the dogs you care for before they come to Daybreaks are a credit to you.
