Hi Crackercharliex - I think his daddy was even more pleased to see his Will today and 2 bring him home 2 where he truely belongs x x x Deb u have been a tower of strength and I thank you for all of your support x Will was a bit quiet (quite understandably) but soon got back in the swing of things - I thought he may need a couple of days to adjust, but apparently a couple of hours was enough, he has been asleep with his legs in the air (as usual) and has been sleeping really soundly x x x YAY our Will I Am is home ;-))

The owners of Harry took Will on trial yesterday. He was absolutely golden for them, but they were missing Harry too much so Will came back to the kennels. As fate plays a mysterious hand, the foster carers of Will decided they would home him and we are over the moon at their decision :-)
Wednesday 19 Oct 14:47

We were at Daybreaks today, and gave lots of fuss to Will. He adored all the attention and would make a really affectionate addition to someones family. Please someone offer him a loving home, he so deserves it and you wouldn't be disappointed. Lots of cuddles!
Saturday 17 Sep 09:42
Will looks so handsome in his new picture. His collar is lovely.
Wednesday 07 Sep 21:57
Hi Deb, there is no further treatment required as he has been given a totally clean bill of health (thank goodness). The vets don't need 2 see him again at all, the site of his skin graft is looking, well - insignficant now and the wound on his bottom is very close to healing totally ! A week or so and his fur will have grown back enough not to even warrant a passing glance !!! Insurance wise - I'm unsure, when we looked into it when we got Jo Jo there were no questions about past conditions, and as the growth isn't going to reappear I guess there are no pre existing concerns, but have a chat with Ruth, she will know better than me x And i will have to speak to Ruth about how to get pics over to her to add, but some on FB if u want 2 look me up ! Ps house trained, children friendly, amazingly good on walks - a dream really - a lovely, handsome snuggle monster who I love very much and hope he will find his forever home where he can put his paws up and be the wonderful pet he has already proved to be x
Wednesday 07 Sep 08:46
Good to hear Will is on the mend .What kind of prognosis and treatment plan does he have also wondering how his past ill health will impact on insurance premiums for medical cover.
It would be nice to see a picture of him now he has nearly healed. Is he house trained?
Friday 02 Sep 22:23
Hey Manda and Rich - thank you for your post x x x And Mand - he is ssssssoooooooooooo much better, totally oblivious 2 wot he has been through his wound is now very tiny and he is almost ready to come back 2 the kennels ! Ruth has agreed 4 us to keep him (thanks hon) until the annual dog show as she knows I love him and I need 2 spoil him some more, hoping that he will go straight into a home - fingers crossed ! Mr Will is currently in his usual position - paws in the air !! :-)))
Thursday 01 Sep 21:15
How's Mr Will doing? Mand x
Tuesday 23 Aug 19:23
Rich and I think Will is gorgeous, i hope he finds his forever home soon. I wish we had a bigger house to fit him in as I would come and get him tomorrow, Rolo and Bean wouldnt mind sharing there sofa's! xx
Saturday 20 Aug 22:08
Will and his foster mum and dad Sarah and Steve came all the way up to Derby today to join me at the Nursing home where I work for a 'mini road show' and to say hello to the guys at the home. he was such a super star and stole the heart of one young man in particular who happens to be my Deputy Mgrs son, he is working on his step dad at the moment....thanks Will for being such a true champion for your breed today and to Steve Sarah and their own lovely greys Toby and Jo for giving up your time. big thanks also to Emma and Dave Bryce who brought along Kevin, Sadie who is a PAT dog and delighted the residents and Moomin who did her first ever 'mini road show' and was a little star...I really appreciate it guys...love Ina xxxxx

Wednesday 20 Jul 21:21
I have 2 report that poor Will can't go for walkies and is a bit put out - i have explained that as he is poorly and was silly enough to eat his skin graft that this it is his own fault ! lol He has decided on this basis 2 adopt the sofa and cuddle up 2 me which is ssssssssssssssoooooooooooo nice ! x

He is feeling much better and his personality is showing day by day x He hasn't had a single accident and is totally house trained. Will is just gorgeous! He is off to the vets tomorrow to have a lump removed from his rear end! The vets sadly think it is cancerous so he is better off without it...... might just have to keep him at home after his op until he is better..... unless anyone fancies fostering him?! :-)
Sunday 10 Jul 17:46
Met Will today. What a beautiful boy. He really pulled at my heart-strings and gave me such a soft and gentle 'look', that I wanted to bring him home! He loved having tickles behind his ears and seemed to be the sort of lad who would love hours of cuddles. I just loved him! Mand x

Saturday 13 Oct 17:30
I have read Will's history and know that this is a great loss for you, but I can see also that you are amazing people who loved and treasured your time with him. Lucky boy, not all Grey's get that. Whenever I have lost a beloved hound I take some comfort in the fact that in time I will heal enough to give a home to another sweet dog. Once the breed steals your heart the cycle begins and more find their forever homes with you. God bless Will and you. Forever in our hearts x
