The update from his mum is: there is no mass or abnormalities that can be seen inside his body.his blood is ok just showing lower protein levels which we are going to check as there is a chance it's not being absorbed n just passed out,if that's the case a gut biopsy will be done and medication shud b avaliable,his other possibility is a blood disease/cancer which will mean bone marrow biopsy if the protein isn't getting passed out,this would mean very little they could do and we also just going to do a strong intensive worming programme just to check its not a worm burden but it looks unlikely.this morning his lymph glands appeared big but scan showed them to be ok and his weight has now dropped to 28kg :-( a long way from his healthiest at almost 35kg as he is a big boy.so we are waiting for his urine test which will come back middle of next week which will hopefully prove his body isn't absorbing protein but then surgery will b needed and again my pocket will b even lighter but thank u all so much for your donations I am truly grateful x

Poor Ben is a poorly boy and the vets can't seem to find out what is wrong with him. He now needs a specialist referral but unfortunately his insurance money is running out. Another big boy who loves being with people,walks brilliantly on the lead,very cuddly and affectionate and loves being groomed.He will be a joy to have as a pet.

Only greyhounds have faces that are full of so much expression! Makes them instantly loveable and this boy is no exception. xx
