I've been away for 5 days n come back 2 this awful news. Womble u were a big favorite of mine, u were one of many Ive wanted 2 take home n u had lupus just like me so u were very special 2 me. I have just had a heartbreaking phone call from Wombles dad to say he has just been x-rayed as he was limping and he has been found to have bone cancer. They are going to let him slip away today.

We had the pleasure of taking this beautiful giant boy out on day release yesterday. It was a lovely sunny day and he enjoyed playing in the garden with Kevin our grey, and watering the plants of course! He was gentle and sweet with the children and didn't bat an eyelid with our two cats. Infact, he backed away from the cats when one of them raised her hackles - excellent sign of a cat friendly dog! Proper food monster, and loved toys especially the squeaky ones. There were tears from our youngest daughter Lauren when it was time to take him back to the kennels, and it was not difficult to understand why.

Womble, you are truly a magnificent fellow, and you'll have no trouble at all getting a super home!

Womble you are just such a soft cuddly boy and i do so hope that you'll find your dream home soon, you deserve the very best. big hug from your 'auntie Ina' xxx

Womble is a gentle giant, very well behaved when walked on the lead and very gentle around people, he was a pleasure to take out for a walk today. i hope he finds a lovely home very soon.
