Can you feedback how she gets on being cat tested once she has settled. I hope she's feeling better this morning.
Thursday 24 Mar 05:55
Sheena was quite stressed when she first arrived home with me last night but has had a very settled night sprawled out across our bed with me, Foxy and Coilean... Poor Robbie.... He was relegated to the sofa.. but she needed some extra TLC. She is adorable.... Love her very much. I used to see her at the vets with Sylv and John when she was undergoing treatment for a broken front leg... Such a sad situation. My thoughts are with John her owner xx

Welcome to Sheena and Flossie who came back to the kennels just as we were leaving today. Lovely, friendly girls. So hope new sofas come along very soon for both of them.
Saturday 12 Mar 22:16
Hi Houndemma, Sheena shared her previous home with three other Greyhounds, all girls. :) At present we are Not sure if she is cat friendly but we will confirm this when she comes back into the kennels. Xxx
Saturday 12 Mar 16:58
We are considering to a hound to keep our 7 year old hound Bella company. Would Sheena live with another hound and would she be cat safe? We have a cat and our hound is great with her.

Hi Sylv, so sorry to hear Sheena has injured her paw. I hope it heals quickly. Xxx
Saturday 29 Jun 10:31
Just to let all know our Sheena had a mishap on Thursday was not sure until a search revealed it was Sheena , cannot explain but blood everywhere, so off to the Vets. Well she has taken to her mishap well and her back paw bandaged (thought after her earlier problems she would try and rip it off) Back at the vets on Monday. But I have to admit it didn't stop here Her and the other two doing a runner and John going after them in the car. Sylv.
Tuesday 18 Jun 12:45
Met Sylv today as we were walking Larry and Misty in our local park. Lovely to meet you again after all these years and learn that you too have greyhounds. Gina and Douglas x

Hi John and Sylv, so nice to hear how well your lovely Sheena is doing. Hope all is well with the rest of the clan. Kate xxx
Saturday 17 Nov 11:16
Just to let people know how the lovely Sheena is getting on. She has certainly come out of her shell although still at times acts like a puppy. After fostering her and then adopting after her injury, and the care of her vet. She is exceptional in more ways than one. Although Flossie is the leader and will put her in her place if she gets out of line, although after her injury & the sad loss of her trainer, she is doing very well & hopefully will become a blood donor in the near future.
Love to all who know of her and especially to her trainers family. Sylv & John

Friday 02 Dec 13:41
Hi Sylv, good news Sheena's leg has improved, I am sure the limp won't bother her. How lovely to hear how happy she is, she sounds like a lot of fun to have around. Twiggy still has her mad moments when she forgets about being a grown up! She has had a couple of accidents during the night this week, but generally the medication works well. We too are hoping to go on the Kingsbury walk so I will look for the new icemaid clan, it would be lovely to see you all. If we don't make it I hope you have a very Happy Christmas! Love Kate and Twiggy xxxx
Thursday 01 Dec 17:44
Hi Kate, I Hope you and Twiggy are well as we are. Sheena has a limp and may have for the rest of her life. We are hoping to go on the Kingsbury Walk weather permitting, last years was cancelled due to the bad weather. Its lovely to meet up with the other re-homed grey's and their owners and meet Beryl our home checker and her new grey Agnes. If I don't speak to you again soon have a lovely Christmas with hubby and Twiggy at the lovely age of 7 now out of the puppy stage, not Sheena now the cast is off and her leg has improved she's been reborn. (everything that's not nailed down is hers) Hope Twiggy's problem is still good on the propalin. You take care.
Love Sylv John and the new Icemaid clan xx

Friday 21 Oct 14:21
Sheena is a very lucky girl to have found her way to you and John, she will have a great life. So glad to hear she did not have to lose her leg, it must have been a very nasty injury. My leg is better than it was thanks but like Sheena will never be as good as new....we make a good pair! Let me know how she is getting on. Hope you all have a good weekend. Kate xxx
Friday 21 Oct 12:40
Well Kate glad you all had a lovely holiday.
Sheena will always have a shorter leg and slight limp,( the Vet was concerned that she might have to lose her leg when he first saw her ) at the moment her walks are to build up some muscle she has lost. She has a lovely nature although yesterday when John went to the kennels she was not too happy (maybe thinking she was going to be left there). We are thinking of taking her on some training when her leg is stronger.
I meant to ask how your leg is?.Sylv xxx

Hi Sylv, that's brilliant news! What a very pretty girl. Has she made a full recovery now? Twiggy and I are well thank you; we have just come back from a holiday in Devon. We went with my Sister and her Greyhound Stan, they had a great time together, lots and lots of lovely walks. xx
Friday 21 Oct 10:32
Hi Kate, correct on all counts.
How's Twiggy well I hope and yourself.
