This little girl was picked up as a stray several weeks ago. The dog warden told me that she was seen being tied to a fence and she was emaciated. She was taken to the Dogs Home so she could be held for the statutory 7 days before being released. We have been following her progress since because after arriving at the Dogs Home she developed kennel cough, then a chest infection then fluid on her lungs. She has been extremely ill but finally she was released yesterday and we were able to pick her up. I already had a home lined up for her so we sorted out all she needed and she looked fabulous in her new coat and she went off, wagging her tail with her new owners.

Dotty has had 0 cuddles today (10 all together).
If you register or login, you can give her a cuddle too!

And a absolute fantastic job you do Ruth. You should be proud of yourself! I know it's hard work, but must be sooooo rewarding! xxxx

She reminds me so much of the state Pippa was in when she arrived. I am so glad we are able to help all the hounds possible, especially cases such as Dotty and Pippa - and despite it being hard work sometimes running the kennels, I know why my life changed to do work such as this......
