Faith (now Lucy) has settled into our lives extremely well. Once Ruth is over Crufts will be coming in to get all the necessary paperwork done to make her officially ours!! :-)

It all happened quite quickly and I wondered if I was rushing into things as it all happened in one day, but so glad I did. She has filled the empty hole that Brucey left when he went over Rainbow bridge last year. He would have loved Lucy and I know he would be happy we have helped her.

We have had Faith since yesterday on trial....But I am pretty sure it won't be long before we are back to get our photo's in the 'homed' section! She has been very good. She did bark last night a couple of times, but I just said NO in a very firm manner a few times and she was quiet all night. We will be leaving her for longer and longer periods every day this week, but will be a maximum of a 4 hours...so just hoping she settles down to a routine. Will keep you posted..Jo xx

Brilliant hope everythings works out for this little girl.Thanks to Daybreaks this girl has her whole life ahead of her.Shudder to think what her fate would have been without these dedicated rescue and rehoming centres.

This lucky lady is very friendly and was more than happy to hang about with my little lurcher yesterday.She is friendly seeks out affection and will be a lovely addition to someones household.

Faith has been with me for a week. She is golden, loving, house trained, walks well on the lead, perfect in all ways. The home that she find will be very lucky to have such a loveable companion and friend, couldn't ask for a better hound. Find a home soon little girl.

Whys faith no longer reserved?

Despite all she has been through this little girl greeted me with a lick and a very waggy tail this morning.Amazing how trusting she has become in a few days.

She is such a sweetheart. I'm sure someone else will snap her up very soon. I hope so because this girl deserves a wonderful home!

Even more good news are the pair going together or being rehomed separately.Either way they are such lucky little girls.

This lovely hound has been with us for only two days – what a change in a short space of time. Faith has started to come out of her shell and interacts well with our greys. It will be great to see how her personality develops when she has had chance to fully settle after her life in Ireland.
She seems to take everything in her stride, is quick to adapt and accept new surroundings. Faith has been clean in the house, been good on the lead, is quite happy in a covered crate and sleeps soundly through the night. Hopefully she will soon find the forever home she deserves, given her shaky background.

Ah Faith. Met you on Sunday (along with gorgeous Little Lizzie). Tucked up nice and warm in the treatment room, she started to come out of her shell a bit. I think she will make a great pet, you could see her lovely cheeky side coming out already. She was very affectionate and even managed to give me a Greyhound 'kiss' Mand x
