We have had the pleasure of Rosie B now for 4 weeks she is more like Molly Mischief. She has settled in really well very quickly and Swifty our other grey is so pleased to have her here they seem to have bonded really well. Her wound has heeled up nice and her fur is growing back.
She wakes up at 6.30 yawn yawn need her to sleep in a little later which will hopefully come in time. She is a beautiful girl and really pleased we adopted her x

Yay.. Rosie B.. I hope you are feeling better. Certainly sounds like it!
I sometimes wonder if The Wombles stories were based on greyhounds :) Lola definitely has wombling tendencies. She's collected all sorts of rubbish from around the garden. plan pot suacers, buckets etc and shoes are her favourite things to collect in the house... destination.... her bed xx

Rosie B I think is telling us she has very green fingers (or should I say paws?) She decided one of the plants on the patio was far better planted in her bed and I came in to find soil through the house and all in her bed with a rather pruned plant :-))))) She is keeping us on our toes as she loves collecting things and putting them in her bed.... anything missing is usually found neatly tucked in her blankets - happily to say - unchewed normally!

A fabulous £165 has been donated so far to help pay for Rosie B's operation - I am enormously thankful to everyone who has donated - our vet bills can top several thousand pounds some months so your generosity is really very much appreciated. We couldn't help the greyhounds without your help and support.

Oh my goodness, poor baby. Trouble is it always looks worse on a delicate Grey's skin. A hairier dog would probably just have lost a bit of fluff! I bet Bailey's feeling very guilty, wouldn't we all react if our 'kennel-mates' trampled on us during the night?! Love and kisses to them both. Mand x

Poor Rosie B, surely her luck is due to change soon? She gets my cuddle today. The black ones are lovely, so pretty, she looks a bit like my Bess. Hope she gets a Reserved sign very soon xx

Would she get on with our joe? He likes his own space but sounds like she does too. We weren't going to get tempted with more than one but she looks lovely!!

We have just got home with the lovely Rosie B. She was bitten during the night which sadly can easily happen if perhaps one treads on another - there is no animosity between Rosie and her kennel mate Bailey and it shows what good character Rosie is to not have reciprocated....

Our greyhound Maggie had the same thing happen to her just over a year ago when she jumped on Joe while he was asleep in his bed (we had this captured on the cameras whilst we were out). Therefore this does not reflect badly on poor Bailey who is really looking very down at the moment.

Poor Rosie has been bitten and is now at the vets being stitched up as we speak. She will come home with me tonight for a bit of extra TLC until she is better.

Jess, I think it's safe to say that lovely Rosie is definately small fluffy friendly as there were lots of small fluffies at the vets yesterday and she paid no attention whatsoever to them. x
