He's kept it as his middle name! He's a real cuddle monster you're right! Not only with us but also with marney too, he often goes over and licks her or they fall asleep snuggled into each other, so glad I have two!!! I was warned!! X

Oh he's my Lucy's half brother (same dad- Ballymac Maeve :) ) Lucy's ears are mad too ... they stick straight up when she sees something and they meet in the middle LOL. If he's as loving and the same cuddlemonster as Lucy he'll be wonderful :) J xx

such a lovely evening it was too at the park! Sheldon is getting better on the lead, he still pulls when he gets excited and his ears "POP" up. getting there though, he's still such a quiet dog, quite scared at times too which is sad to see. I will know more by this weekend I hope :) such a loving boy.

Hello :) sheldon did indeed come back to us on Sunday, marney was complaining her sofa was too big without him!! I went back to see how he was getting on and well, it was just too sad to see him in the kennels when we knew there was a home he could come back too.
He is still reserved as we need to see how he copes with Marney when we're at work, and also how we cope with two dogs. Marney is transforming into a really well mannered dog and it's unfair to ruin things for her too. Fingers crossed, he's getting better by the day, and does not bark in a house!! We're working hard, it's strange starting from
square one again, but seeing how amazing marney is, it's so worth it!! X

It's actually going to break my heart taking Sheldon back, sad thing is he doesn't know yet, he's totally oblivious as he lies there on the floor, legs up in the air asleep! He's been a pleasure to have around.
Mr Sheldon is a shy boy, he loves attention but can be left alone with our other greyhound without him whining or barking for short periods. He's an inquisitive chap and mimics a kangaroo when he gets excited about something!! (I have informed Marney, this is not the new thing to do!!)
Unfortunately now is the wrong time for us to have two dogs, else he would definitely have a green sign next to his name! I really hope and believe he will make a wonderful companion to someone who has the time, patience, and dedication in teaching him the ropes of basic obedience etc... He is a quick learner.
At present I am not convinced how he'd be around small pets as he gets easily distracted on walks. I hope this is something he will overcome with time and training.
Good luck my boy xxx

Mr Sheldon..... well! what a lovely lovely dog. He's a big lad, however is so quiet, sleepy and cuddly you wouldn't know. He loves coming over to you and popping his head on your neck and has the cheek to try and sneak some kisses in there too!!
He hasn't grumbled at all at our other greyhound despite the fact she's kindly asking him not to take her tennis balls and chew them up...again!!!
Currently he's flat out on the floor in our bedroom. Not sure who's taught him how to get on a sofa and stretch the whole length of it mind!!
He's settled straight in to our home, he's house trained and, well... he's just lovely!! He needs some practice at obedience (both on lead and around food!), however isnt that all greys who are awaiting their home?! He is also quite distracted by small dogs and other fluffies, with time he'll be grand. He knows where our Guinea pigs live and hasnt bothered them at all.
Love him! we'll certainly miss him when he goes back to the kennels this weekend, however I am positive he'll find his sofa forever pretty soon. A true gent.

Sheldon, I don't think I have ever seen a dog so delighted that you were going to take him for a walk - quite amazing!! Like Bob, had a quick look at the noisy Labs at the farm gate, but kept walking. He has a gorgeous face, another very handsome boy. Mand xxx

Sheldon stayed with us last night & was no trouble at all. He settled straight in, got on great with Peg & Max. Loved his food, as all Greys do. Overnight we didn't hear a murmur from him. He's a lovely big boy. Hope he gets a forever home real soon.xxx Val,Ray,Peg & Max.
