Just to let u know billy is doing really really well . His new nick name is belly not billy as he tells us when its breakfast and tea time . loves his walks and doing very well . First time today off his lead, so very very please with him . Billy and Mila are doing great . If he is to clumsey mila show him who's boss . lol XXXX

Hi Aimee, just to add my tuppence worth, i love to see your comments too as i have a greyhound who went through hell in his early life and it is lovely to see that its not always like that and that some of the wonderful greys have known love and kindness before they come into a home....apart from that it helps us so much more to find the right home when we know more about their background and all your info is invaluable. keep it coming...much love Ina , very proud mum of Rossi Toby McKenzie and Daisy. :-)

Hi Mand, Thank you, thank you all for your kind words. And there was me thinking i was clogging up the comments box or annoying people with my long comments that are abit emotional at times. I'm happy people have the time to read them and may of considered adopting the greyhound because of them, anything I can do to help one of my wonderful little (in this case BIG) racers find a forever home :) x

Hi deb. thank you, that really means a lot. All the dogs that are in our care at the racing kennels are truly adored and loved by everyone. It's difficult not to get attached to such wonderful dogs so I do get to know them very well. Even though it's hard to write down exactly how amasing the dogs are, i do try my best :) .

Hi lady victoria, yes it is very hard to say goodbye to the greys that leave us at the kennels especially ones that have being there for so long but i take comfort in seeing pictures of them on the facebook page running in the garden or lieing on sofa, enjoying there retired life. Well done my handsome bee! My boss told me that billy has moved to great barr, which is were i live so hopefully i will see him around the park sometime :) x

I think I can spy a tiny greyhound in the car with Billy or is just that he is so big he makes every other grey look so small.Your new family look so happy to have adopted you. I think you are going to have a good life big boy well done on your speedy rehoming.

My handsome bee
He is such a wonderful boy, a true gentle giant. Doesn't snatch, or barge past or bouncy. He only jumps for joy when he see's you walking to his kennels with food, he can get a little noisy around feeding as he gets inpatient but other than that his fine. His like a small pony, standing him next to some of our small bitches you wouldnt even think there the same breed. He loves his treats and cuddles, he'd run and jump on his bed and wait for me to give him some love, the kennels won't be the same without him as i've got so used to seeing him in the kennels, it's going to be weird. I will miss him loads but will take comfort in knowing wherever he goes he will be spoilt and given as much love and cuddles as i gave him (If thats possible)
