poor Max, he has to have his toe nail off!!
his toe was broken when he was racing and now his nail points up like a banner!
took him to see if they could trim the nail but vet has suggestredf they remove the nail at the bed to stop any future problems
think of him next Friday :-((
having said that, he is looking fab at 40.2 kgs black and glossy and doing well (says I) in his training.
Met the stooge dog last week and just ate his treat look at it as if to say what on earth is that??

Max came to training today he continues to be so handsome ,his coat is now lovely and glossy. He is as bright as a button and very interested in everything around him.

he is getting sooo cheeky, playing with toys, nicking my slippers, sleeping on the sofa, and we wont mention finding the stuffing inside one of the cushions (haha) he has put on even more weight (not fat tho) and is looking fab with a coat like black ebony - I am so glad I am a failed foster mummy

he has gone green:-))) all paid for and duly signed for on the weekend. the best boy, my male Tyler came down this morning sniffed my girlie Rosie, went over the Max and gave him a big lick on his nose and the 2 boys went out to explore the garden (not that it's big enough to really explore) but it was soooo sweet

Great news - he does look a lovely dog with those little flecks of white on his coat. I would love to foster if i lived closer but i know i would never want to give them back. Would love to see some photos of him in his new home :)
Now if we could just persuade Dale's fosterers to keep him!

i fell in love with beautiful Max today, he is just the sweetest cuddliest big greyhound boy ever, so incredibly gentle....someone out there will get the most wonderful dog and i hope it won't be before long that he finds himself in his forever home to give someone the love he gave me today. utterly gorgeous :-) xxxx

Max is a wonderful boy, he is gentle, completely house trained with no accidents at all. Walks well on the lead, listens and is so willing to learn.
He is good with other greyhounds and loves company
He is curious and loving with a beautiful calm eye that will show you how much you are loved. xx Big boy, miss you. Your foster Mum xx

Max was a wonderful boy to foster and he is chilled, happy and follows you around quietly and gently. It was very hard to know it was his time to find his forever home and we do miss him very much as do his greyhound friends he shared our home with. But we know that the family to adopt Max will have a very special dog and I look forward to hearing that he has his very own special people forever xx

I have seen this boy today and he is so chilled. He was stretched out on a very comfy bed clearly enjoying his retirement.He has a friendly/sunny disposition and gets more stunning every time I see him. he is soooooooo very handsome and affectionate.His foster family have really looked after him well and they must miss him.

Foster update, Max was spotlessly clean in the house from the very first moment he entered. He sleeps thru the night, loves to cuddle down in a corner and follow you around watching everything you do. He is loving and affectionate, walks beautifully on the lead and was an absolute pleasure to have around.

He is a very handsome lad....hope he finds a new home soon. xxx

I brushed and walked Max today and he is such a gentleman. He walks very well on the lead and adores all the fuss and cuddles you can give. He also has a wonderful soft coat.

He is a big boy but is really gentle, so you don't really notice his size as much.

both my males have been big bit as soft as butter and real fuss-pots

he is but he is so gentle and doesn't know how big he is, he is very careful when he lies down and is just such a love
