It is with great sadness my Brother Chris and his family had to let their wonderful Mannie go to Rainbow Bridge this evening.

He really was the most perfect lad. Chris has two daughters and Mannie was his Son. Indeed he answered as much to " Son" as he did to his name! If ever there was a dog who chose his family it was Mannie. When they came to look for a Greyhound to adopt, Mannie knew exactly what he was doing and followed Chris around the small run not taking his eyes off him. There was no way he was going to let them choose anyone else!! Xx

There is another Greyhound angel tonight; he is the one with the lovely big ears! All of our family will miss him terribly. Mannie, run free with Twiggy and Stan. With love from us all. Xxxxxx

Happy Birthday to my beautiful baby boy!! Nine years old and still has the energy of a puppy!! He's so lovely!! Going to spoil him rotten with lots of treats and somewhere cooler for him in this hot weather.

Wishing our beautiful boy a very happy 7th birthday for tomorrow. Celebrating your birthday and spending a year as part of our family.

Hopefully it won't be long before Mannie can go for long walks with Twiggy and Stan again. xxx

All is going well and Mannie doesn't need the bandage anymore. YAY!!!:)

Good News!!! Mannie's bandaged paw is getting better. Hopefully he wont need a dressing anymore xxx

My cuddle goes to lovely Mannie today. I saw him yesterday and despite his poorly paw he was still his usual happy self and it hasn't affected his appetite at all!! Keeping everything crossed his paw looks better when he goes back to see the vet tomorrow. Lots of Love Kate and Twiggy xxxx

Our poor little boy has really hurt his foot. It started off as just a little cut so we bathed it in salt water. Unfortunately, it just got worse and in the end a trip to the vet was needed. The vet told us it had gone septic and he was put on antibiotics. He's had three different bandages so far. A tiger striped one, a light blue one and a yellow with chickens on it! Hope he gets better soon xxx

Mannie has now got a new habbit of going up to mirrors and looking at himself. He keeps thinking there another dog in there and trying to attack the mirror so we have had to put it away for now. He's so funny and has the most energectic and happy personality

Took Mannie to the park again today and walked him through the woods. He was a good boy and was loving dragging me through the mud!!! He is such a happy boy. He completly covered the car in mud and was sleeping on the way home. He's settled in really well and is a loving and loved member of the family.

Mannie and Twiggy ran around in the garden on Saturday. They both loved playing together as Twiggy now has someone to run around with. She was great around him and only barked playfully not agressively. Stan and Twiggy are happy to see Mannie now and he's not so nervous to go and see them either. He's such a good boy!

Mannie has been such a good boy meeting Stan and Twiggy. He is such a loving and caring boy! He has been doing well at learning to sit when people are eatting and is now sitting on command for a gravy bone!

Mannie is a really lovely lad. He met cousins Twiggy and Stan on Sunday, Twiggy was very good with him I am pleased to say, just a couple of grumbles. It's brilliant to now have three beautiful greyhounds in the family !! xxx

Mannie has been a good boy while here. He been settling really well and enjoying all the new places and smells. He was a bit stressed at night but he's getting better. He had been trying to go up the stairs but he can't get down with out help. He's met Stan and Twiggy and was a really good boy. Twiggy and Stan had a little growl but other than that they we're fine. He has walked past other dogs and he didn't react at all. He's settled well into home life and is happy to lie on his bed with a treat and then settle for the night

I am so excited! Lovely Mannie is going to live with my Brother and his Daughters. We came along to the kennels on Saturday and Mannie picked them! A new cousin for Twiggy and Stan!! xxxx
