We visited Auntie Ruth today and completed the paperwork to adopt Tigger. He's settled in so well, he's become part of the family in such a short time. :)

We've had a lovely Christmas day with Tigger. He was very good on his walk with our other Grey this morning. Other dogs both big and small don't bother him at all - he's a laid back boy. We had our Christmas dinner while he chilled out on the bed and later he enjoyed turkey and carrots. He's settled in so well. Lovely boy :)

Tigger has settled in very well at home. He is a lovely boy, very loving. He loves his food, gets on well with our little girl (another grey) and loves to be taken for a walk. He slept right through the night, and was really pleased to see us when we got up. Ooaar a lovely boy :))

I am sure they will be fine. Your house must be bursting with Greyhounds! It must take you ages to give them all a goodnight cuddle! :) xxx

Tigger has had another very settled evening and is very relaxed when around other greys. We were out for a meal last night and I was able to watch him on the cameras we have installed to check he was settled and he was. As I have 3 of my friends dogs arriving tonight, it is with reluctance I have to leave him at the kennels tonight along with Beanie. :-(

He spend the evening laying in the hall.... at bed time we popped him in his crate and he started barking immediately. I therefore took him upstairs as one of my holiday dogs was being grumpy with him. He sniffed around the bedroom and then just settled down on a duvet in the corner of the room. He didn't move all night :-) He has eaten his breakfast and has settled again in the hallway whilst I do paperwork upstairs :-) He is such a lovely boy - I hope I can find him a home soon. Sadly he is not cat friendly.

I have brought Tigger home with me. I was told that he tends to bark a lot if he is left so I have popped him in the large crate we use with the post-op dogs that I bring home and I have come upstairs to attack my paperwork!

For the last hour he has been quiet and seems very settled - no barking yet :-) Keep your fingers crossed we have a quiet night!

Unfortunately Tigger has been returned today. He has been suffering with separation anxiety. He seems anxious with the family's toddler crying and the owners feel he is unhappy. With a heavy heart they have returned him.

I will take him home with me until he finds a new home.

Tigger has settled in really well in his new home and seems really happy! he's so gentle and patient with our 2 year old, has been loving lots of walks, and sleeping on his back with his legs in the air in his new bed - he's our perfect dog!
