Charlie'smum I am so happy to read your update and that it has been possible for the beautiful Charlie to come back to live with you. Such unfortunate timing that it had to be that weekend that your son was becoming poorly - but I am delighted that he is now fully recovered and can enjoy being with Charlie again. Thanks to everyone who sent their best wishes for our son's speedy recovery, he is now fully recovered and Charlie has been back home with us now for a couple of weeks. It was just really bad luck that the weekend we brought Charlie home was the weekend our son was brewing a chest infection, sadly his immune system could not cope with a chest infection and new dog at the same time! With Ruth's support we had Charlie back on a trial basis and everything has run smoothly this time. It was such a heartache losing our greyhound of 6 years but Charlie has made our family complete again, please rest assured he is settled properly and loving his food, walks and lots of cuddles. All our love to Ruth again for her support, we could not have done it without her. xxxx

Thank's Jaksmum - I have been in constant touch with the family and the the little fella is back home and getting better. Such a sad situation all round as the family recently lost their greyhound homed from us in 2005 and Charlie who is just so lovely seemed a perfect match.

Being asthmatic myself, I do get a reaction to a few of the greys when they first arrive but it is very rare :-( I am just so thankful their little boy is ok as it is a frightening thing to go through.

Is there any news on how the little boy is? Poor little mite, his parents must be frantic

Charlie is being a perfect house guest, he is here with me just for tonight to see if he likes my cats! Sadly he likes them a little too much. I cannot believe how relaxed he is in the house, he is now fast asleep with all my babies, fantastic boy.

I am so sad for the family who have just had to return Charlie. Their son is at the hospital as we speak with a severe asthma attack. He has just arrived at our house where he will stop for the night before I take him back to the kennels tomorrow :-(

I have been told that he was very clean in the house and great with kids, gentle on the lead - I hope someone falls in love with him soon.
