Sending Jess a big cuddle, she must be so confused as to what is happening to her at the moment, but I'm so glad she is ok at Auntie Ruth's - I guess "the gang" are helping her feel at home. x

this is such a sad story and will take a very special, patient family to help her through this, but I'm sure there is one out there.
Just look at the love and care our beloved Amber gets from her family after such a difficult start.

This girl is just so gorgeous and gentle, with the biggest brown eyes ever! Her story may as well have been copied and pasted from my Frankie's page - she couldn't cope in her previous home either when she lost her grey friend. Surrounded here by her new grey family, Frankie has been perfect in the house (unlike her naughty sister) so I do hope somebody sees past this and gives Bess a home soon. I left the kennels today uttering the now all too familiar mantra "I do not have the room or the money for another grey... I DO NOT have the room or the money for another grey..."

That's sad, very sorry for you all, Bess must be heartbroken at the loss of her greyhound friend. xxx

Bess is arriving back at the kennels today. She was homed in 2007 but sadly the family's other greyhound passed away a short while ago and since then, she has been toileting in the house and has become destructive. The family have young children and adopted a small breed to keep her company but this has not made any difference. The family are unable to now home another greyhound to keep her company (which may or may not be the answer as she is clearly missing her pal) so they have heartbreakingly decided it would be best to find her another home. She will be coming home with me until she finds a new home.
