Hello everyone @ daybreaks, its my birthday today!! I have had a good day chilling & having some treats!! I have been here with the hills for 2 years now & I have recently started to have a mad half hour everyday, my humans think it very amusing!!! I do like a game of hide & seek too!!!

Stan is settling in lovely. We have got a new visitor this week called Sally and she is fitting in very nicely! Stan is a very gentle boy but with the help of Luke our other boy (not a grey!) he is finding his way. Sally is helping too! x x

Hi stan not seen your since the weekend hope your OK .Trinny and Tommy would like to meet up Easter weekend if you can make it with your new friend Sallie .oh and don't forget to bring Luke he likes a good walk ,so if your moms got u and sally and your dads got Luke then he must have an hand free to walk someone else !!!!! So when your mom and dad go back to the kennels for the papers for sally ,don't get going with them ,they will need the room in the car to bring another friend . c u soon

Hi I heard you had a new visitor this week I also hear their not fostered but stay with you now for keeps great news but 3 dogs is an odd number perhaps auntie Ruth can sort this out !!!!

Pop over to see Stan a couple of times now really settled in he just needs another mate as seems Luke isn't enough and it's not you haven't got the room why have two when you could have three

Stan settled in really well! still unsure of his position in the cat world, he seems to want to go to them but they don't seem to want him just yet! Has now found his sleeping quarters next to our bed, eight hours of undisturbed sleep! Using muzzle when we leave him, so far so good. Luke has been so much happier having him around and us! xx

One thing I do know Stan is your going to be loved and spoilt and have lots of new friends Tommy and Trinny already excited to meet you ,though Tommy a litle disappointed he had his bags packed to move with the Hills.Can't wait to go for walks with you Welcome xxxxx

Hello, we've got Stan home, he was very good in the car! We have had our first night and so far so good!! Stan has coped very well and Luke seems very pleased to have a new friend. Stan has had a few visitors, including the cats!! We have had to get up in the night with him (only to be expected) but he has gone in garden and done his business so that's fab. He seems to like collecting things - our camera, cushions, door stop!!! He is so lovely we are totally smitten!! x

Had a lovely time yesterday with the 'original' Santa! Such a sweetheart, he enjoyed his walk in the snow and is such a friendly boy. Big cuddles my lovely boy. x

Just love this boy, he is always happy to see you and is as good as gold out on his walk. I think he's a bit sad today though as his kennel mate Sally has been reserved. Let's hope we can get him his own forever home very soon. xxx

I'm so sad this lovely boy has been returned so quickly. We homed Jet 2 months ago and Ruby 2 weeks ago and they found life in a house confusing and scary. Ruby hardly slept for the first week but now she cuddles down and even hides her face under her blanket (so does Jet) as she snores peacefully away. I can't imagine life without my new kids as they are a complete joy to us. Yes we have problems but we are trying to overcome them together as a family should. It must have been heartbreaking to return these lovely boys so my heart goes out to the couple who had to return them, the dogs themselves and all the hardworking folk at Daybreaks.

oh this is so upsetting for both the owners and these two lovely doggies xx

Just a thought, but perhaps next time we could put the neighbours in the kennels for a night, see how they like it!

I agree, this is so sad. So wrong for neighbours to stick their nosy beaks in too. Although I admit I'm saying that without the full story but can't understand how they could be so influential and deny these dogs and their owners the love that they all had to share with each other. Makes me so sad.

This is just so sad - I am heartbroken at the number of boys & girls that have been returned over the past couple of weeks. I'm with you LizzyB - 2013 must be better.

Oh no! I know dogs have to come back for all kinds of reasons, but there do seem to be an awful lot of yo-yo dogs at the moment. Very sad for both dogs & the owners. Let's hope for a more positvive start to the New Year for all.

Lennon (Santa) has been returned today, the owners had problems with the neighbours and felt it couldn't be resolved. Its not easy returning a dog and the owner was upset.

Fantastic! I was smitten with you after our walk yesterday (and with Henry too) and so obviously were the couple who viewed you :) Such great news.
