Hi Caroline, thats lovely news, I walked Santa a few times when we had the snow, he was so lovely and playful, you really wish you could take them all home !! we were hoping to see you on Sunday at the walk but Bertie is booked into the spa day, so hopefully we will meet up on the next walk, give max a big kiss mx

Santa 2 has been having a family come to walk him every evening with a lovely little fawn girl Greyhound called Zena. such a lovely family, they are coming to the kennels to speak to Ruth on Saturday, and hopefully give Santa ( Stan ) his forever home, well done big boy i will miss you xxx

sleeping on his own down stairs didnt last long, woke me at 3am last night with kisses, then lay on the floor and went to sleep . Bless him such a good boy

Santa 2 has been staying with me since Saturday. He is the happiest boy with the waggist tail. sleeps well on his own,( his choose ) no crying slept all night. He is a very lovable handsome boy . Will make someone home complete

I've got Santa 2 just for the night before he goes off to his foster home tomorrow and my word, what a lovely boy he is.

His solution to everything seems to be tail wagging. I took him for a quick walk round our field after I picked him up from the kennels and there he met two horses and five sheep. With the horses he sniffed their noses and wagged his tail very enthusiastically. The sheep were a bit confusing for Santa - initially they bolted off across the field, which was met with bouncing, a little spin and a small bark from him as he wanted go go join in. Then the sheep ran straight back at us, only stopping a few meters away. Poor old Santa was a bit unsure, it is not often that the thing you think you are meant to be chasing comes running back at full speed towards you!

Santa likes our Retrievers and has only been mildly interested in our chickens in the back garden. He's also shared a bed with Minnie (not even a grumble from her, which is highly unusual) and ate his dinner well.

He has also met a very bouncy Labradoodle at my Grandma's house this evening and was not phased at all by the exuberance of the other dog.

Well done for being such a good boy at the roadshow Santa. I don't blame you for being a bit overawed - I bet it was really noisy and so many strange things for you to take in all at once. Lets hope that you have stolen someone's heart and your new home is just around the corner. xx

I took Santa 2 to the Pets at home roadshow at the Swan centre yesterday, he was very well behaved although I think a little overawed at all the new sights and sounds, he got lots of attention from people, several of whom wanted to take him home, and a few treats too ( so apologies for his kennel if it was bad this morning!) He also saw several different breeds of dogs, big and small and took no notice at all, I also took him to show him the rabbits in PaH and although he was looking at them he wasnt desperately trying to get at them. Well done Santa, lets hope your new home is round the corner. xx

could any one help? my grey had a stretch she let out a sweak, then ;she started limping, then she stopped, gave her rest, hot water bottle massage, cold peas. she stopped limping for days now she started again. any advice before i take her to the vets please? thankyou sharon

Had a lovely time yesterday with this gorgeous boy. As the weather was so rotten, the kennels were really quiet but we managed a lovely walk in the snow & Santa is such a lovely boy, he loves to see you and have a cuddle and his whole back end wags in excitement - love him to bits! x

Met this gorgeous boy today. I was sitting on the bench and he came through the gate with one of the volunteers and came straight up to me wagging his tail and just sort of presented himself to me and put his head on my lap! I would have taken him home with me there and then if I could. A really friendly chap and so gorgeous and fluffy, like a big soft bear. Couldn't tear myself away from him!

Ha Farah, I was going to say the same thing!! This gorgeous boy's whole back end wags, not just his tail, and he is such a playful boy. A beauty. x

Santa 2 is such a big happy boy!! I've never seen such a waggy tail and back side!! This boy is so happy and active. :-)
