Well Auntie Ruth, Fearne and I have been training our pets for a whole year now and they are getting better each day. As you can imagine I'm always extremely well behaved, but the Minx usually lets me down !!!!!! We go out for drives and walks and love the car, the caravan is great and near the beach. Fearne thinks it's OK to chew mothers pet's prize table and chairs.....even with "nasty stuff" on them, ME I would never do such things, I just rearrange the contents of the recycling bin, as all the good smelly things are in there and there is always something left in each tin within tongue reach. Have tried hiding tins in my bed, but mother pet found me out and now keeps a close eye on me. We would both like to thank you for letting our pets take us both home. Their lives have not been dull for one moment since we arrived and Auntie Ina still loves us when we visit even when Fearne gets our grey friends running in and out when we visit. She still has far too much energy and lots of new ideas of how to get the pets to notice us !!!!! Fearne says she can't wait for spring so that she can help our pets dig the garden as they are getting on a bit and need the help. Here's looking forward to another year of fun, fun, fun. Lots of love Toby and Fearne.

Well hello everyone. Can't believe we have been in our new home since February. How time flies. So much has happened. Our pets have installed a stair gate to stop Fearne and I getting into their bed. Such spoil sports. We have had a holiday in the box thing they call a caravan and it was superb. We went onto their special field 5 or 6 times a day and slept the rest of the time. What a life!! Ideal for any grey !! We go to "pet training" each saturday morning, but our pets are very slow to learn. Fearne has taught "mother pet" how to sit, stand, down and walk to heel, but "father pet" and I just can't be bothered. Who ever heard of a grey wanting to SIT !!!!! Fearne keeps boasting that she's got it sussed, and is quite pleased with herself. Typical women!!! We get lots of treats when they have been out shopping and Fearne and I keep each other company when they go shopping and sleep quietly until they come home. Fearne has even learnt not to knock mother over when she comes home from work and, of course, as I am a proper gentleman I wait for the Minx (Fearne) to get first cuddles and then mother gives me extra hugs and fuss. Mother and Father pet go out for meals and we love waiting at home, 'cause mother always brings her meat home for us to have, as she is a vegetarian ( except when it is curry night YUCK)
Auntie Ruth, mother wants to say a huge thank you for allowing us to live with them and hopes you feel well again. Lots of love Toby and Fearne. XXXXXXX

We can hardly believe that we have been with our pets for another week. Fearne and I are great friends and try and sneak onto our pet's bed whenever we can. I have learnt to climb up the stairs, but getting down is still a little frightening for a big lad like me. We are going to pick up the pet's caravan (whatever that is) next week and they have told us that we can go on the beach and see the sea. Don't want to sound stupid but... caravan ? sea? even Fearne is no help. She just said that "holiday" was a word she knew, the others were news to her too. Anyway, mother pet says we are going in the CAR and that's one we know..... walks.....and treats when we get home... wooppee !!!!! Tell you all about it next week. Love Fearne and Toby xx

Hi everyone, Toby here. I'd just like to add a comment to Fearne's latest note. I had heard on the grapevine that there was a computer dating service available at Auntie Ruth's special home for those of us that need new pets with soft beds to share. On monday morning I was introduced to a very cute grey who bounced over to me and said "do you come here often?" Was I flattered that she wanted to chat to a quiet lad like me. We went to her home and being a gentleman I offered to sleep on the edge of her bed, she completely misunderstood me and told me off. Females!!!! We now have a bed each and go for lovely walks and have matching coats and muzzles ..... we turn heads wherever we go..... such a handsome pair.. even if I say so myself. We get on really well now. She thinks she taught me how to clear the table... I think not, but let her believe that she knows all the tricks. I rather like this life. Thanks to Auntie Ruth.
