So Long, Farewell

As you know, Ruth stepped down as manager at Daybreaks at the end of June but continued as Assistant Manager. Sadly she will now be leaving us for good at the end of August.

Everyone involved with the kennels, and of course all the gorgeous Greys, will be so sad to see her go but wish her all the very best in her new life in Devon.

Everyone is welcome to join us to say goodbye and good luck with tea and cakes on Bank Holiday Monday. Drop into the sand run any time from 1pm to 4.00pm, parking is at Birmingham Exiles Rugby Club as usual.

Ruth, we first met you at Perry Barr stadium just before Daybreaks opened and you handed us our first greyhound Pippa we needless to say fell in love with greyhounds and currently have no,s 8&9 at home with us !! You not only have a great affinity with greyhounds but also with people too you took our "Little Sarah "under your wing when she was 14 and she spent such great times working at the kennels with you,We wish you and Andy all the best for the future lots of love Fiona, Rob and "Little Sarah " and of course Maddie and Toby too xxxxxx

So long Farewell. to Ruth and Andy . We had 5 good years volunteering at Daybreaks. We enjoyed walking the greys, mucking the kennels out and generally having a great laugh at the Kennels. We loved working with Angie who organised great xmas shows and Kate and Lisa as well... We would like to wish you both all the best in your future life together.... and the New Manager best of luck in her new Role... Ruth 1 big Thank You!... John/Mary ex-volunteers now in Herefordshire..
