The 2019 Greyhound Trust Solihull Annual Dog Show will be held on Sunday 13th October 2019

As usual, we will be holding this very special event at the Solihull Riding Club ,B93 8QE near junction 4 M42.

We have published the event schedules..

Please see out Greyhound Trust Solihull Facebook Page for details

Event Details

Doors will open at 9.00am and Judging will start from 10.00am - there will be a total of 73 classes

Companion Dog Show, Greyhound Age classes and Novelty classes for Greyhounds and for non-Greyhounds.

There will be Greyhound Class Winner trophies and Champion Trophies

There will also be 7 Championships including a Veteran Greyhound Championship.

Glorious rosettes will be awarded for the oldest dogs in veteran classes.

Entry at the door will be £2 per person and £1 for small children

As usual, there will be trade stands to allow you to indulge in a little retail therapy too.

If you are a dog lover, and particularly, if you own a greyhound, don't hold back.  Bring your dog along to meet some new friends and join in the fun.  Until you win a rosette, you will not understand the joy it brings.  Come along and join in the fun, bringing your friends and family to join the fun and joys.

I forgot to ring today but I’ll collect a dog on the morning of the show. If Simon is not working, we can collect two.

Soooooooo I am after your help once again!!!! It is our Annual Dog Show in just a couple of weeks. We would love to get all our inmates out for the day - there are only 16 hopefuls.....

To give them a change of scenery, socialisation and maybe even a chance to find a new home, this is where you come in!
Either you could collect on the morning of the show or if you are brave enough, (no strings attached) why don't you collect the day before and give them a sleepover!!

If you think you can help, please call the kennels. Due to liability insurance restrictions, you need to have either adopted from us or are one of our registered volunteers.

ps...... shhhhhhhhh - it would also mean that Jo who normally works on a Sunday would get to go to the show which she is desperate to do..... go on - have a think about it! Ruth xxxxxxx
