It was a really super day, I agree with Angie, it was wonderful to see so many beautiful Greyhounds and their families. So good to see old friends two legged and four...and lots of new friends too! Aren't dogs just the best! Xxx

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to our open day today, or supported the day by buying raffle tickets or donating online/by phone.

Big thanks to our stall holders, and to those who helped out by manning the refreshments and games. It was a crazy busy day, but it was so lovely to catch up with lots of doggies who brought their humans along to help us celebrate.

Thanks to your incredible support we raised the amazing sum of £1624.03 There is still some to add on from donations made via our cool new donations terminal, but we are completely overwhelmed by your support - THANK YOU!

Daybreaks 17th Birthday Prize Draw takes place tomorrow - 2nd July 2023 at 2pm. First prize is £250 kindly donated by Fivelands Veterinary Centre and Human, Drinks and Dog hampers for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th prizes. Tickets are just £1 each.

If you are unable to come to the kennels to buy a ticket you can transfer by paypal to daybreaks2006@gmail.com commenting raffle tickets and we will pop in the draw for you or you can pay by card over the phone if you call us on 0121 782 7702.
The support through raffles such as this is what enables us to continue the work we do at Daybreaks so your support is really appreciated.

Tickets for our Grand Birthday Raffle are on sale at the kennels, if you can't get in to see us we can happily sell you some over the phone!!

There are stalls to browse, games for your hounds, mini pampers and nail clipping - and why not have a go on our Spin to Win wheel for the chance to win some special Birthday Bonanza prizes. It all starts at 11.00am and parking is available at Birmingham Exiles Rugby Club - just use the top end farthest from the Clubhouse, and the entrance to the sand run is on your right as you walk back up the driveway.

The weather forecast for Sunday keeps changing its mind so we don't really know what to expect, keeping fingers crossed it's not too hot or too cold - but just right!

Plans for our 17th birthday are starting to come together.

There will be stalls, games and light refreshments and our Grand Birthday Raffle will be drawn at 2pm. We are so very grateful to Fivelands Veterinary practice who have generously donated the £250 cash first prize. Tickets will go on sale very soon.

Our lovely Well Care Assistant Laura will be on hand to offer mini pampers and nail clipping - just check in with her on arrival.

Parking will be at Birmingham Exiles Rugby Club (entrance off Old Damson Lane) as usual, so pop the date in your diary and keep your fingers crossed for some good weather. See you there!
