Quiz Night

On Friday 24th November you are invited to a quiz at Our Lady of Lourdes (222 Trittiford Road, Yardley Wood, B13 0EU)
Starts at 8.30, although people start arriving after 8.
Normal team size is 4-8 and it’s £2 per person.
Raffle prizes welcome (that’s what brings in the money!!!)
All money raised from the evening are coming to Daybreaks Trust.

As I woke up this morning, I had a message from RosieP saying that the Quiz Night last night was a huge success. Total of £442 was raised for us, the biggest amount they have ever had. That is a massive amount of money for us.
Big thank you to everyone that went, those that donated and those that took items for the raffle.
Also, huge thank you to Angie and Nigel for suggesting us to be the nominated charity this time round, it is grately appreciated!!

We have an opportunity to raise some vital money for the kennels next Friday night (24th November 2023).
This was Angie Allbones’ idea as her father is the quizmaster at Our Lady of Lourdes Social Club (Billesley).
They run every 3 months and raise money for nominated charities. This time round is Daybreaks’ turn. The below information is about the event:
• Our Lady of Lourdes (222 Trittiford Road, Yardley Wood, B13 0EU)
• Starts at 8.30pm, although people start arriving after 8pm.
• Normal team size is 4-8 and it’s £2 per person.
• Raffle prizes welcome (that’s what brings in the money!!!)
• Please wear Daybreaks ‘uniform’ to show us off
• Share our story and what we do, even giving out leaflets (I will pass these to Angie for the night)
If anyone would like to help create a team to take part in the quiz please let me or Angie know as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, on this occasion I won’t be able to attend due to work commitments, but I will help where I can make it happen.

I still have items for raffles for you. Need to update my list on what I have as we have used some items & I have sold some at the salons with crackers & some did sell at the August event so will sort in next couple of weeks.
