Kennels News

13-Feb-2009

22nd February 2009.  What a busy weekend we have had!  We had the Pet Blood Bank (PBB) with us today and they took blood from all the kennel dogs and a few pet dogs in addition.  PBB contacted us at short notice as they had no emergency blood supplies and the kennel dogs were absolutely fantastic at being donors.  The weekend saw homes for Madge, Kevin, Goldie, Lucy, Tom and Dusty off for a trial.   We are expecting new arrivals on Tuesday so look out for their photos!

13th February 2009.   Welcome to the first of our kennel news on our brand new web site.  It is great to have such an interactive and easy to use website so now we can put the photos and details of our hounds on as soon as they arrive.  Being able to mark them as reserved or re-homed on the site as they are picked or homed is great so people logging on always know the hounds we have at Daybreaks are current.

This was tested by to it's full last Saturday when we had 6 reserved and 4 homed all in one day.  Tuesday came - three new arrivals to 'stock up' the kennels....... and three homed that day!   New arrivals are continuously arriving so we are kept on our toes learning new names and characters!

Yesterday was a busy day seeing Brodie and Percy homed. Today we have Vera, Sticky, Magic, Tammy and Myles being signed up! On Tuesday I am off to the airport for 4.30am to take Wolfy (now named Blue) to fly to Spain to live with Stuart and Jane Harris who already own his brother!
