EXCITING NEWS FOR DAYBREAKS!

by Shanesmum

08-Feb-2024

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is one of the biggest charities in the country. As well as the great work they do at their 3 homing centres, they also support smaller rescues and animal welfare charities around the country with their Animal Partnerships programme.

This programme offers both virtual and practical help and support in the form of online courses and seminars, telephone access to advice from Battersea’s team of behaviourists and Vets, and practical help in the form of deliveries of food, bedding and other necessities should rescues and charities experience difficulties in obtaining supplies themselves. There is also the opportunity to promote dogs that have been at the rescue for a long time, or have specific homing challenges, to a wider audience in the hope of finding the perfect home.

The Trustees are delighted to announce that following a visit to the kennels by ladies from the Partnerships team last November, who were very impressed with the kennels and the work being done there, Daybreaks Trust is now an official member of the scheme. We look forward to working together for the benefit of the amazing Greyhounds that come into our care.
