This gorgeous fella was enjoying the sunshine lying on a raised bed out in the feeding run this morning. One of the volunteers had crouched down beside him to say hello, and he moved himself up the bed so he could lay his head on her leg and stretched out his leg to rest on her other leg - so precious.

He was loving the gentle fuss and cuddles coming his way from everyone that met him during the morning. Lets keep everything crossed that he's soon on his way back out to the sofa he is used to and deserves. He gets my cuddle today.

How lovely to see Boss is on his way to a new home - that's what helping at Daybreaks is all about and this is the best bit when they go to their new life :) He's such a beautiful boy and deserves his sofa :) xx

Another lovely boy I'd like to take home, my 3 collies would love to play with him around the grounds and on the beach, What happened to the poor boy? I've seen a few posts that suggest hes had a rough time? Chin up Boss man a loving home awaits

So myself and Boss took a little trip in the car down to Fivelands so he could be neutered. We wandered onto the lane, before placing his front legs in the boot ( needed a bit of help to get in), he soon settled down and is very good traveller. He was very happy to wander into the vets said hello to all the staff.

I went to pick him up later, you wouldnt even has know he’d been under GA he trotted out and back to the car x

Jetlucy, unfortunately they can before 7 days if a dog is signed over to them, if a stray they have to give the 7 days, doesn't bear thinking. This boy is now safe, as is the other greyhound, this is all that matters, thank goodness. He will be so well looked after and loved until his forever home comes along. I don't think that he will have to wait too long. He is gorgeous. X

Hello Boss. We had to go home before you arrived, but we heard all about you. You haven't had a very nice time but you're ok now and things will get better from now on. Hope you're settling in ok. There are lots of cuddles coming your way! Xx

Poor boss but in one way I am pleased to hear he is at daybreaks as I always worry that when dogs are in 'pounds' and the dreaded 7 days is up what actually happens as I know they say they don't put them down now but I never believe it so I'm sooooo thrilled to know this beaut is safe and will hopefully soon get his forever home xxx

What a sweetie this boy is - only just 2 years old and done 26 races :( . He leans against you and bounces too :) He'll be a lot of fun :) Settled in the new van like a dream and not a peep out of him xx
