Make a Difference!
Our Volunteers are from all walks of life, with some dedicating five days a week and others contributing once a month. We are grateful for each and every one of them. Every moment of Volunteer time is valued as they play a vital role in the kennels’ operations.
Daybreaks relies on committed Volunteers who invest their time in creating positive change.
We are currently developing an induction programme to provide comprehensive training during your Volunteering journey with us. At Daybreaks Trust, there are various roles available, from photography to attending fundraising events.
Volunteer Roles available at the Kennels
Kennel Volunteer
We always require help in the kennels with kennel routine. This involves cleaning, walking, feeding and engaging with the dogs (training provided)
Home Checker
We require Volunteers in different areas to check homes of potential adopters and provide guidance where necessary (training provided)
Fundraising Volunteer
This role involves attending events and engaging with members of the public to raise awareness for Daybreaks.
Maintenance Volunteer
We regularly need an extra pair of hands for kennel uplifts e.g. painting, gardening and clearing!
