Summer and Sky

Summer and Sky are a striking pair of blue brindle sisters, both 4 years old, and currently looking for a home where they can stay together. Their unusual colouring is matched by their gentle natures. They’re half-sisters to our well-loved kennel favourites Uppy (Freya) and Ursela, and share many of the same lovely qualities that made their siblings so popular here.

Although they’re bonded, they each bring their own personality to the mix:

Summer is the more confident of the two. She’s slightly larger, with a bit more energy and curiosity. She enjoys human company, takes an interest in her surroundings, and tends to approach new situations with enthusiasm. She’s affectionate and steady – a reassuring presence for her sister.

Sky is smaller and more reserved. She’s shy around new environments, and is clearly at her most comfortable when Summer is close by. She takes her lead from her sister, watching carefully before deciding whether to join in. Although Sky can be more apprehensive about new situations, she still loves people.

They are both easy-going and undemanding dogs once they feel settled. They enjoy their routine, are clean in their space, and settle well together. While neither is high-energy, they will benefit from regular walks, gentle stimulation, and plenty of time to relax in a home environment.
