Tiny, it has been an absolute pleasure fostering you this past two weeks. You have been quiet as a mouse, totally clean in the house, travelled well in the car, ate up all your meals, and a bundle of joy to take out on walkies. I am over the moon that you have been reserved and have no shadow of a doubt that you will make a marvelous pet and companion for your new owner. xxx

As part of #NationalGreyhoundWeek (26th August to 1st September 2024, we have been kindly offered to attend Perry Barr Stadium on Saturday 31st August for an Owner's Night.

The evening will consist of us going with a dog or 2 walking round bucket collecting and showing the racing community what we do as a charity post retirement for racers.

It is free admission for all, please check parking on their website and follow any instructions from their staff on the night relating to parking.

Doors open at 1800hrs
First race at 1901hrs
Last race 2210hrs

There will also be current racers there also doing their meet and greet with customers.

Question & Answers / talk session about what we do as a charity and the care we provide for the dogs, how people can support us and how to get involved with rehoming.

One of the races on the night will be a Sponsored Race - This race is dedicated to Daybreaks Trust too.

If anyone is able to lend a hand on the night. With dogs (stronger handlers please), bucket collecting, or talking to people - please get in touch with Luci at the kennels on Friday (I won't be attending unfortunately as I am on holiday).

After the humans left me to go on a cruise I think its about time I forgive them. They left me for a whole two weeks!! I would like to put in a complaint, as soon as they returned within a couple of days my sister took me work to get my vaccinations. I am not impressed. They did get me treats though to be fair but should nit be left. I declare to come with humans at all times. Anyway while away from my humans I found a girlfriend. A little whippet. We had a great time. I am now back to normal though and have returned to demanding my walks and making sure the humans are on time for my meals. They are doing ok, but I think this is because they are feeling guilty.
