I had this message from an owner who had adopted his greyhound from a Greyhound Trust branch and unfortunately despite efforts to arrange return he has been unsuccessful.

Due to a major change in working commitments I need to rehome my greyhound called ginger. She has been with us for about 3 years. She is dog friendly with all size of dogs, and child friendly. She is house trained and can be left a working day. She walks well on lead and can be left off lead in enclosed space she does have re call. She likes to play with other dogs. She has been great with my 6 years old son and 8 month old son just unfortunately my wife wouldn’t be able to give her the attention she deserves when I’m not here. She can be nervous of men but is fine when she gets to know them. No health issues since she has been with us.
Ginger has been out to foster and the assessments made over 3 months are – she is a nervous girl and didn’t interact around the other dog in the family.
