I've had a Lurcher & Greyhound living with cats. Yes they don't appreciate other cats but have become ready to accept our family unit. Shall we say "They know who's leader of the pack" With love & respect for each other we have lived many years together. I'm now at a loss without my LOLA, who was one of your girls.

Hi Catherine. Sorry for not replying sooner, I didn’t see your question. I don’t think Lady would be cat friendly unfortunately. We saw a cat when we were out on a walk and she was very keen and overly interested.

Happy 12th gotcha day my darling! Oh how I wish I could turn the time back. Mia brought all her school books home this week and was reading through them and in June during one of her lessons where they had to write about themselves, she wrote all about you! She said 'Jet was a black greyhond. Jet was jentl and kind and orways listnd to me' (bare in mind she's only 6 so spelt as its said in her head), literally brought me to tears and was so proud of you both! You were quite simply the best boy ever and we miss you so much. Lots of love, mommy xxx

Our extra special lad Barny went home yesterday! We will all miss him very much, but we are so very happy for him. He has been an absolute pleasure to look after. Always happy to see you and always ready to play!! He has been to several road shows and events, he is a great ambassador for Greyhounds and shows why everyone should home one, or two!! Daybreaks Diary!

We had our 20th Birthday Celebrations yesterday. The party wouldn't have been complete without an Iceland delivery of food, treats, and cleaning products from our very good friend Phil! He excelled himself this year with deliveries on four consecutive days.... We are so grateful to everyone involved, including a lovely group of War veterans, Sertec Tyseley, Sertec Aston, Tom from Iceland and Phils family and friends and most importantly Phil's two beautiful Greyhounds, Polly and Champ who donated their pocket money! 5 years today since that morning when you decided it was your time to go over rainbow bridge. A decision you made yourself in true Jet style, no fuss, no need for the vet which was what I was dreading, your little heart decided that it just couldn't go on anymore and you passed away peacefully in my arms whilst out enjoying your morning walk, in turn leaving my heart broken in pieces. Will always love you with all my heart and miss you so so much my darling boy. Mommy xxx
