Daybreaks Diary!

What a glorious Autumn day it was today 🍁🍂 Things were a bit quieter today with fewer boys and girls in residence, breakfast service and cleaning was done in good time which gave me plenty of time to say hello to our new girl Sootie - what a sweetie, so bouncy and lively, a big bundle of fun! Our journey in to the kennels wasn't as bad as expected - the cones had been moved and the lane reopened which made life so much easier, let’s hope they’re not back again in time for the working week. Honestly, if it’s not HS2 it’s something else causing problems in the area making it a real chore to get where you want to go ☹️ As September draws to a close our thoughts turn to Christmas ( yes I know, crazy but true!). We are seeking stall holders for our Christmas Market on 5th December, and raffle tickets for the grand draw are now on sale at the kennels. Fingers crossed this beautiful weather holds out for our walk as part of the Great Global Greyhound Walk tomorrow in Brueton Park - do go along with your hound if you can, meet at 10.30 for an 11.00 start. Whatever you end up doing, have a great weekend one and all. Angie x

River
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We are so grateful to Lesley and Chris for looking after River after his owner passed away a short while ago. Very sadly River's health declined earlier this month, and despite everything the vet tried, they had ro let him go to Rainbow Bridge. They are heartbroken and describe him as the most special boy. Xxx He is now reunited with Estelle. Xxx God bless them both. Sending lots of love to Lesley snd Chris. Xxxxx
