I can't believe it has been three years since we adopted Maggie. I love her to bits (just as well because sometimes she is quite a diva!!!) and take her everywhere that I can with me. We have enjoyed holidays in Scotland, Lake District, Peak Districk, Isle of Wight, Wales, Devon and Cornwall. She is at her happiest exploring new pastures (she seems to consider it an insult if I try and walk her directly from the house!!) and particularly enjoys long coastal walks with the wind in her face. I like to think that she is a true adventurer. I am looking forward to make more happy memories with her in the future xx

Ruby Rebel

This lovely boy came to Brueton Park with me and a friend today. As usual he was pleased to be out and about. He trotted along very contentedly next to my friend and her pram. I've taken Ruby Rebel out several times and know that he loves a brisk walk. However, today he was more than happy to match his pace to us. There were lots of dogs in the park but Ruby Rebel was not fazed at all. At one point he even had five dogs surround him but he didn't even bat an eyelid. Once in Solihull, he came into a coffee shop with us where he stood taking it all in for the next hour. He accepted fuss from several people from tables around us and was impeccably behaved throughout the entire visit. We walked back through the park and he hopped back in the car no problem at all. He is such a confident and easy going dog. I can really envisage that he would just slot into whatever new home is offered to him. I really cannot emphasise enough how perfect I think he is and really urge any potential adopters not to overlook him in his kennel. If you want a good natured and affectionate dog, who just wants to experience all life after racing has to offer, he is for you xx

It’s absolutely right and proper that you think of your special boy every single day and it’s a testament to how much you loved him and the huge impact he had on you and on everyone else he met.
