Had some fun with Jack today. He absolutely loves his squeaky toy so we had a tug of war and he won! Lovely, lovely hound!

If you are considering adopting a greyhound, it’s a wonderful time to visit daybreaks. There are so many wonderful hounds waiting for a new home and Alfie is a really special lad. I can promise you that if you were to adopt Alfie, he would be you bestist friend ever.

I spent a lovely 10 minutes with Tony in his kennel today. He ended up lying with his head in my lap enjoying the fuss. What a splendid hound he is.

Woop woop I was so excited to see diddy today and he was as gorgeous as I imagined and this has also made my day these older hounds so deserve a home! And wispas mom I was going to ask the same please can alfie be shanesmums next screensaver? That would totally make my Easter! Xxx

Another gorgeous boy we met today. I don't know how you volunteers and workers do it you must have your heart's melted every day but thank goodness there pooches have you. It was the first time my mom and aunty have been and couldn't get over how clean, tidy and comfortable all the kennels were which is testament to you all xxx

Well alfie I met you today and I can well and truly say you melted my heart. What a gorgeous gorgeous boy you are. I kept coming for rubs and have the most dreamy heart melting eyes how on earth are you still in kennels? If I was looking for another id snap you up but please please public someone have this boy so i can get him off my mind I promise you won't be disappointed! Xxx

Ted grew his wings today at home surrounded by his family after a short (less than four weeks) battle with a Tumour in his shoulder. he will be missed so very much by us and his greyhound sister Minnie .He left Daybreaks a very quite boy after being returned but he left us a bouncy stubborn boy even on his last morning he wanted to go for a walk and then realising he couldn't walk he refused to move for the car boot till he had been taken for a drive .thank you all for letting us have the pleasure of his short time with us we loved him so much rest in peace my beautiful Teddy bear xx
