Well around 6 o'clock mom got changed and then she and dad went out into the garden. I heard mom saying "not yet, not yet", and "you're killing it". They were out there for ages.... When they came in with very red cheeks. We all went upstairs and into the bathroom .... No, I thought, they are going to shower me! I looked at TC appealing for help. Phew! He let me out! Anyway the pile of paper in the utility has gone and there is faint orange glow in the garden! Florence xx

Bolt has today helped out at our awareness/collection at Pets at Home in Stratford. He is a tremendously friendly lad behaving perfectly with everyone he met including the smallest of children and dogs. In his previous home he did suffer with separation anxiety but if there is anyone out there able to provide the right home enviroment this loving friendly boy will repay you with all the love and affection any dog possibly could.

Second time with Big Tone today. He decided that he only wanted to walk on the lighter shade of tarmac today so we weaved our way up and down Damson Lane avoiding all the dark bits! Whoever adopts Tony will have a real character - I like him a lot.

Really enjoyed a walk down the lane with (not so) Diddy today. He gets enthusiastic and spins in cirles when you enter his kennel but is great to walk. Lovely big boy.

Unfortunately Florence can’t make it tomorrow so there is no walk. I’ll miss her but hopefully we will meet next week! We are quite busy tomorrow so I guess it’s worked out well! Barney Xx

I think I deserve a medal, in the last 2 nights mom has put her foot on my head in the middle of the night getting out of bed! She says it's my fault for spreading so far out of my basket - as if! Then small furry Coco has started prodding me when he wants to go out - mom and T C won't let him as its too late but he thinks if he annoys me he'll get his way. I have not nor would I bite mom's foot off but if Coco persists I'll bop his nose! Anyway the sack truck has arrived so mom says she'll drop it off tomorrow. Florence xxx

Roy and Saddle are just gorgeous together!! About 18 months ago we adopted two very similar hounds Ronnie n Reggie, as I look at Ron now upside down on the sofa, legs waving on the air as he sleeps and Reggie, flat out snoring in front of the log fire, I realise I couldnt be happier!! They make me laugh out loud every day with their stupidity, whether its Reggie raiding the bin or Ronnie trying to sit on my lap!! They ask for nothing other than to be with us, a daily walk and their dinner....its a bit like me really!!

Diddy walks beautifully on the lead.Took him into the run yesterday and after a little trot round and lots of sniffing he decided he liked human company best and was coming to me when I called him. Gorgeous hound

Hello everyone, don’t know if me and Florence are meeting but I would like to! This weird black bag came in the post today. I have no idea what it’s for but my sister was starting to put some of my things in it. I think I’m going on a little holiday on the 31st March. I know it’s very early to pack but my sister is putting the holiday essentials in there that we are using. My sister showed me the weird looking bag and said we are going to stay in a friends caravan for a couple of nights. My friend Freddie the chocolate lab and his sister Bella are going to be there too! So I am really looking forward to it. My sister has none stopped talking about these lions and Aston Villa... whatever they are. Apparently they are playing somebody called Fulham tomorrow, again I have no idea who that is. Apparently she going to watch them. It seems pointless to me but whatever. Apparently they beat some blues guy last week. Anyway it doesn’t really seem and interesting topic even though she insists that I am a Villa fan! I still don’t know what it means. But my dad has been saying that I’m not and I’m a baggies fan... all very confusing. Glad to see Rory has been fostered and has been offered a home! And of course if me and Florence are meeting tomorrow or any Saturday when we meet, Flloyd is always welcome to come a long is he is free. Barney Xx

Lula Belle's ashes arrived back at the kennels today and she was scattered on Wispa's grave which is at the kennels. The sun was shining and she not suffering any more x
