I rested my chin on the gate that stops me getting into the kitchen and looked at mom with eyes that said 'I am a poor starving greyhound that has never had any chicken and that chicken smells so good, surely you can spare a bit for a poor starving greyhound'. It didn't work, mom pointed out to me that I had just had a bowl filled with chicken, potatoes and green beans - well it was worth a try! Looking forward to the run on Saturday. Florence xxx

We have heard from Lexi new owners today and they have sent us some pics of her on a walk, we will upload later. she is also doing extremely well and has settled in like she has always been there. x

So excited for this weekend! Can’t wait to run although I will probably just stand there. Dreading the pamper though! I think my daddy is booking the run early next week, got to check with Florence though first to see if she can do a time before my pamper. It would be nice if Flloyd came along but no worries if he can’t. Would be nice to see Kate again if she is there. I am also looking forward to seeing all the other staff and greyhounds! Barney Xx

Shandy had her first proper pamper since being with us and is smelling and feeling wonderful. She loved her play in the sand run and is now curled up in front of the fire with her new squeaky toy (that is the first to keep the squeak after 10 minutes)...I’m so glad I chose to rehome another Greyhound, and still trying to convince shandy’s daddy that we should have a second (ruby rebel would be my choice at the moment closely followed by Tony)

I have heard it said that mom has ordered me a second collar - for Christmas wear - and a blue necklace for herself, so much did like the look of them. She would say go for 4 bracelets, you can never have too many! She says she is leaving me with TC on Tuesday night to go out with Auntie Lesley, wonder if she'll bring me a doggy bag back? Xxx

It’s a terrible photo of me!. Lexi is now curled up infron of the fire!. She is so so loving and calm she is just the perfect addition to our family. We are absolutely thrilled and totally in love!
