My beautiful princess Vera has gone off on trial to her new home. It is crazy how a certain greyhound creeps totally into your heart and it is heartbreaking but happy to send them out to a new home. It is impossible to keep every one you fall in love with..... be a good girl Vera.... Missing you loads already xxxx

Update on Jonny, he is making great progress overall. Still very nervous walking in the dark, but daylight walking is a lot calmer with traffic noises and his pulling is a lot better. We've even got him onto some foc training courses to help with his anxieties and he has put some weight on. He is starting to shine through being very fussy and loving his treats and he is totally clean in the house. He just needs a loving forever home.

Message from Tracy and Jess Hi Lisa The specialist has got back to our vets and as long as Billy’s kidneys don’t fail we still have hope! They are going to treat each of his symptoms one by one! He has liver failure, pancreatic disease and vascular failure at the moment! They are mostly concerned about the vascular problem so they are going to treat that as there main source for now!

I have just spoke to Billy's owners who are friends of mine. There vets are onto specialists and I will know more tonight when I speak to them later as they are awaiting a final call from the vets as to whether they is any formal of treatment... Billy is in major pain and they want to do what's best for him... Huge hugs to Tracey /Jess /Billy plus there other 3 dogs. X

Ginger's been here a week now and we thought we should let you know how well she's doing. I can honestly say I have never had such a calm and chilled dog. As soon as she'd explored the house and garden she passed out on the floor. Later on she discovered the sofa and that's been her place ever since. She likes to "share" the bed, luckily she folds up small (for a greyhound) but chooses to plonk herself in the most inconvenient position for the human. Food is just AWESOME, as is her new big brother (Guzzi the whippet) walks, other dogs, birds, squirrels and just about everything else. Her smaller, slower, fatter cousin (lab X) is a little put out but that's only because Gin is faster, thinner and keeps stealing her bone. Tomorrow will be fun; she'll be meeting for the first tine her other 2 cousins (Whippets) and my bro, sis in law and 3 kids. Plus her first tine with a family meal round the dining table with roast meat.

Thinking of Billy and his owners...... he has been unwell and finally the results have come through that he has Alabama Rot. We are keeping everything crossed for him.........
