So sad to see him go because I really wanted him but really overjoyed because he deserved that sofa. Enjoy your new home.

Benny
I’m Homed
Benny went to his first training session today. Thank you Julie for letting us come. He travelled brilliantly in the car and enjoyed being nosy watching everything out of the window and I feel he handled the training session very well. He watched and started following some of the commands (we are both learning these) and although he wanted to have a look at the other dogs responded well. He did have a little bark as he wanted to join in when another Greyhound became excited but with some gentle commands (and treats which he loved) he responded positive....well done Benny let’s get you that forever home that’s right for you xxx..........and now he’s off to Bournville too have fun xxx

Barney
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well my daddy let me off the lead for the first time ever in the park! I loved it, it’s way better than waiting for my family to catch up. I run like crazy but I promise I do come back when I’m called. Also there is some werid green big thing in our house with lights on, I have no idea what it is. Barney Xx

Barney
Over the Rainbow Bridge
From the boy who was scared of everything and everyone to the stubborn confident and boss of the house. Barney is now walking without is lead and never moves more then a hundred yards away from you and comes to you when called and waits when told. His confidence is getting better each day. He does prefer to sleep by the side of my bed and will not move if he gets upstairs at every opportunity. Barney and I are best of friends and never far from each other.

So Wolfys been to a couple of pubs and the beach in Cornwall. He absolutely loved the beach. We let him off his lead and he was off like a rocket and to see him run to his full potential was awesome. The greyhound really came out in him and he was bounding around and was so happy it was great to see. We love this dog so much xx

Very sadly Maggie has been returned to the kennels today.. Her owner is seriously ill in hospital and her husband understandably is spending all his time there and feels it is unfair on Maggie being left so much. As she is used to a home environment, she is currently with Ruth. It is a desperately sad situation and we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
