Over the Rainbow Bridge
My Ellie has had a tough couple of nights with fireworks going off non stop from about 7pm. I'm thinking of getting her a thundershirt but just wanted to first see if anyone else has tried that/if it has worked for them or anything else anyone can recommend? She's a panting, shaking mess and it's horrible to see. xx

It takes some hounds longer to settle than others especially if they are an only dog. My first grey took about 3 months to settle and even then he got us up every nigyht for the 8 years we had him. Never ever did I think of giving him up despite the bags under my eyes and the zombie demeanor throughout the day!

Hope you had a settled night Wilson, been thinking of you a lot! I was panicking abit just when i checked in as could't see all the hounds from yesterday, then thought oh look down...and there they are are either rehomed or reserved...yay!! Looks like it's been a busy day today and so good to see so many signs...hoping the next sign is a rehomed for you Wilson xxx

We took Fizzy home with us today to see if she might be our new hound having recently lost our lovely Silla. She is a very friendly girl, and very intelligent. She is curious about everything around her. Loved playing with all of our dog toys, also a bit of a thief with lots of other items! Was on the go all day with us, and we feel she would probably benefit from a home where people are around in the day more than us and maybe where she is not the only hound. She travelled well in the car, and walked nicely on the lead. we saw a Labrador across the road with no problems. Fizzy will make someone a super pet. We wish her lots of luck xx
