Flutterfan - Nifty is an awesome lad. Since his return to Daybreaks he has really come into his own. He has a really beautiful, shiny coat, is easy to walk and is very friendly. I always look forward to walking with him.

What a lovely face Nifty has! I have not met him but I'm surprised that he is still waiting for his own sofa. Perhaps a visit to the Stratford Walk or Brueton Park will give him chance to shine. The right home will be waiting for him.

Kitty came with me this morning to Melbicks. She is shy girlee however after a gentle pick up into the car she lay down quite happy, she walks well on the lead. She was timid towards young children however everything was all new to her. She is the most beautiful blue with gorgeous brown eyes. With gentle handling and time she will blossom into a lovely pet for someone.

This little poppett is finding kennel life quite stressful, she was not happy yesterday so she came home with me for an overnight stay. She needed a bit of assistance into the car! but travelled beautifully. She has one of the loudest sniffs I think I have ever heard! As you would expect from such a youngster, absolutely everything was of interest and she had to investigate anything and everything, sniffing all the time. Initially she did put her front legs up onto the work tops (all the better for getting more sniffing done, lol!!) but responded very well to a firm "no" and this morning, although the work tops were still tempting, she didn't even try to get up. Although we live in a very quiet house, out in the country, it is right next to the railway line and initially Darcy was a bit spooked by the sound of the trains rushing past. Same with the TV, she was reluctant to come into the lounge with the TV on bless her. It must be very scary hearing loud, strange sounds and not being able to identify where they are coming from. She slept well, we got up at 6.00am which isn't bad going considering how strange everything must have felt for her. She does love her food and virtually inhales a bowlful in record time! Hopefully as she relaxes into life she will realise there is no need to bolt her food and she will slow down a bit! She was a little interested in our meals yesterday but again does respond well to being told no. She is so affectionate and loves to give kisses, and enjoyed a tummy rub whilst in the traditional Greyhound roaching position this morning! She will make a lovely companion, she is young and eager to learn and just needs time to gain confidence in herself and her surroundings. It was a pleasure to have her as an overnight guest - wishing you well sweetheart.xxx

To tommys new mummy, thank you, I've shed a few tears reading your last post. I would love to be able to keep in touch to see how my handsome boy is (sorry I know he is t mine anymore;-) ) I've been checking in everyday to see if there's been news on him. I say to Emily (kizzy) everyday let's check in and give tom tom a cuddle and see how he's doing lol. I'm so pleased he's found his furever home with you. And yes he loved to spread out on my little 2 seater settee when he could and he would even get on and squeeze in next to me and rest his head on my lap. I hope he's resting his head in your laps and giving you Lots of love and hugs and kisses xxxx

Hello everyone...Tommy here....I am getting there in training my mum and dad....they have gone and bought special covers for the sofas so I can now jump on and have a little Shuteye....Rossi and Daisy think its great as they also lounge on the sofas again....happy days !!!!!....Jorg the cardio vet rang mum the other day...looks like he is trying to get the lovely lady vets in the village to fit my heart monitor harness soon....so maybe we can find out what makes my heart go all haywire at times....other than that life is good... Message to my first mummy....please don't be sad...I had the best time with you and I know you loved me...my new mum says that you can contact her through Auntie Ruth if you want her email address or her phone number....Mummy knows how hard it is to give up a beloved fur baby but unlike you she can't find out about her Maddie as the new owner refuses contact....she cried when she read your message to me....a big softie my. Mum.... Anyway sending you all my love....mum and dad are signing the adoption papers on Sunday...I have got my posh new address tag on my new collar...looks I have landed on my twinkle paws....take care all....love Tommy Tomster xxx

Just to let everyone know Wolfy is doing OK and have noticed a vast improvement in just a couple of days. He's just been for a walk and met a very excited Husky and he didnt bat an eyelid. Just had a bowlful of food a nice drink of water and a treat .....still have to put it in front of him and wont take it from my hand not yet ....... now he is snuggled on his bed and waiting for us to put a movie on. We absolutely love him and he's an absolute delight.....however the cat isnt too keen at the moment. Wolfy has seen him and again wasnt bothered its the cat that has the problem but even that was just a tiny smidge better xx

We took Gorgeous George home today...he really is great...he just takes everthing in his stride...no problem in the car.....great walk around Kingsbury Water Park and now settled in on his big bed ! Thanks to everyone who help us at Daybreak !

I was actually early getting to the vets this morning so I took Furry for a short walk in the park and this is where her new photo was taken. She LOVED it!!! She is being speyed today so I will be picking her up later... she is adorable....
