Just had to tell you about my latest adventure, I've been on holiday! My hoomans get very excited at these holidays so I was excited too. First I slept in the car, then I slept outside a coffee shop, finally I slept in my bed at this cabin thing in the woods - you should've seen the squirrels! Every time mom and dad went out, I went too, sleeping in the car, it was great....until mom kept stopping and exploring pathways in woods! I'm talking miles and miles and miles! I'm sure I'm shorter now. On the last day I went on strike, enough is enough, my bed was being neglected! So I took a quick 13 hour nap. And so they got the message, when we got home, I went straight up onto my bed (although they still think it's their bed, silly mommy and daddy) and slept some more. Hope all my kennel buddies are being looked after by the lovely slaves. Love Saffy x. PS Auntie C, we will have to have stern barks if you speak of other buddies coming to live with me, I would have to share my peanut butter, salmon bites and very comfy beds. Grrrr

Earl and Judy are getting on wonderfully. He is such a lovely boy very affectionate. Judy has got alot more confident and will sit on sofa for a cuddle with her new mom . They will be going to there new home very soon I'm sure they will be very happy xxxxx

I collected the very handsome Harry back from the prison project this morning where he has been absolutely doted on. They told us that he was very settled in the kennels. He loves his walks and time in the sand run but does not do well with sudden or unknown noises. He eats well and he has put on lots of weight over the last few weeks. He is a gentle loving hound who loves company and enjoys being brushed. He has settled in well with Brandon in the big kennel and run as we are short on kennel space and we really hope he finds his forever home very soon.

Dubh has arrived back from the prison project today. We were told that he spends most of his time horizontal! He loves his walks but also loves laying on the grass! I was told he is very playful in the sand run too. He doesn't always eat his food in one go but eats well generally and has steadily put on weight over the last few weeks. We are told he is a very happy, calm, laid back hound who loves company and now it is time for him to find his retirement home! He is booked to be neutered next week - but we won't tell him that otherwise he will want to go back!!!!

Fletcher (Brandon)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Brandon has arrived back today from the prison project. We were told he settled into the kennels well and initially did not eat much but now enjoys his food very much. He loves his walks and time in the sand run and could get quite excited when he knew he was going out. They told me he is a very special loving hound who can be lively and very playful. He gets a little anxious at times but does seek reassurance from those he knows. His weight has increased nicely and we are so pleased he is back at Daybreaks as it is time for him to find a home of his own.
